An idea for a fic I'll never write... probably an Agents of SHIELD tie in?? AOS fic? Idk...
You are Coulson's younger partner. Then one day you both go on a standard mission to check on a mad scientist living in a warehouse. You get trapped in his expiriment and Coulson shoots him, trying to save you. He turns off the machine and they get you back to SHIELD. Fury lets him watch over you. You wake up and freak out. Lightning shoots from one hand and you kill and wound the doctors working on you. Only Coulson can calm you down. You discover your powers, but can't handle them. You tell Fury to test the mind wiping drug on you so you can forget everything that has happened and get out of SHIELD. Hoping you will forget your powers and not hurt anyone else. You leave.
One day, after the Battle of New York, you are living normally and a man comes to your door. He introduces himself as Nick Fury. He tells you you have extreme powers and invites you to SHIELD. You meet Coulson again and join his team but don't remember anything so you get your memory back piece by piece and work with the team.
