Part 6

Days rolled on like this and Sandhir's friendship grew with passing time.One day when they were working on the project when Randhir suddenly asked Sanyukta-

Rd-Sanyukta...ummmm suno kya aaj tum thodi der or ni ruk sakti.

S-why?

Rd-wo...actually umm..wo..leave it.

S-are you sure tum kuch ni kehna chahte?

Rd-no continue your work.

S-okay...she said casually.

"Shit what I was going to say...I asked her to stay here for long...Randhir aisa kuch mat karna jisse tu ek best friend ko khi de''He mentally cursed himself.

It was 5:00 pm,the time of their returning home.Sanyukta come out from the office building and see it was raining heavily.She did'nt had a slight idea that it could rain.It is very hard to get a rickshaw in this bad weather.Randhir too come out nsaw her tense  face.

Rd-hey Sanyukta why are you getting tense,come I'll drop you.

S-Randhir roj roj tum mujhe drop karo acha ni lagta you are my friend that does-nt mean I take advantage of that thing.

Rd-aaj bol diya fir kabhi mat bolna you are my best friend..and its my duty to drop you safely at your place as a friend and boss as well..okay.

S-hmm lets go then.

Sandhir settle in the car,the rain become more steady.It is become very hard to see anything due to rain.Randhir is driving slowly but it seems that they have to wait to rain stop.So Randhir halt the car in a near by place.The Barish song is playing on the radio making Sanyukta ecstatic and Randhir awkward.She has not dare to up her eye lashes.She is assuming her and Randhir instead of the actors.

Rd-umm..Sanyukta lagta hai ye barish ni rukne wali.

S-yup  lag to aisa hi raha hai.lets wait may be it will stop raining soon.

Sandhir waited at least for one hour but the rain does'nt stop.So he ask her with hesitate-

Rd-Sanyukta ek baat bolu if you do'nt feel bad?

S-ha bolo or mai kyu bura manne lagi.

Rd-Sanyukta its almost 9 and lag ni raha ki ye barish rukne wali hai or tumahra ghar bhi yahan se 12 km away hai so...kya tum aaj mere ghar ruk jao  jo only 2 km hai waham tak I can drive any how but driving to your house would be risky in this weather I hope you understand my point of view and dad ir baki attendants bhi to rehte hai ghar par to tumko uncomfortable ni feel hoga.

Sanyukta nodded positively after thinking for a while Rd drive at a very slow speed.Soon they reach  Shekhawat Mension luckily Harsh is in his room after having his dinner.Randhir ask a maid to take Sanyukta to guest room.As soon as Sanyukta enter in the room her mouth form a O shape looking at the lavish interiors of room.She saw such rooms only in movies,the maid give her a towel to rinse off her wet hairs and leave from there.

S(i.m)-his house is also very huge yet he is simple .

Randhir too change in casual and come into dining area and ask the maid to call sanyukta for dinner.She come and took a seat beside him.

Rd-so like your room?

S-its beautiful Randhir.Kitna acha lagya hoga tumhe itne bade or khoobsurat ghar m.

Rd smile faintly on her statement.only he knows how it feels leaving all alone in a huge house where no one is to look after him.

They have some chit chat and left for their respective rooms.After some time shd feel thirsty n find the jug empty so she comes to the kitchen to fetch water but while returning to her room she hear a melodious tune,she take steps towards the source of the music and come near a dark room,only a fade light is coming from it,she push the door silently to know that who is playing such a divine tune.When she look at the person she has another shock if her life-

"Randhir"escape from her mouth.
