Aspens POV

It's been two weeks since I kissed Ryder, I don't regret it, God no! But what I said was true, even though we haven't talked in two weeks. Usually in lunch he'll nod his head as if to say I but I ignore it, nobody else does, they look at him with eyes popping out of their sockets. But Connor is doing way better, two more weeks till he's back.

Dear CA,

So my parents hate my boyfriend because it's long distance and they say he'll mess up my future. But he treats me like a Princess and puts me before anything and he's really a good guy I need to get my parents to come around to the idea of us dating. Any tips?

Love, Bailey

Dear Bailey,

Give it time, parents don't always support your relationships. But you're happy, they should be happy to have their daughter smile and laugh and enjoy life. Life's too short to be boring babe.

Xoxo, CA

I finish typing that in on my blog and shut my laptop off to start Physics homework. Physics is just too hard, I can't deal with it.

"What the hell is your problem? You kissed me, it wasn't even a kiss, you pecked my lips and make a bet with me then never talk to me again? Is that your plan Aspen? Because it sure as hell isn't getting me to like you," a familiar voice booms through my room. I turn in my chair to see the ever so sexy Ryder going off on a little rant.

"Well considering you're ranting in my room about me not talking to you, I say it's most definitely working," I say with an award winning smile.

"It's not, I have a girlfriend Aspen, that's the problem. I'll get you back Aspen, I promise you I will." He huffs out of my room and slams the door. Who let him into my house? Mom or dad must be home. I put my ear to the paper thin wall.

"You should tell her, she's gonna be mad and she's gonna throw a fit and take it out on me," my dad whispers, their in the kitchen. I open the door slightly and creep to the top of the stairs and sit down.

"Why should I be the one to tell her? You're the one that suggested this," my mom says in her angry tone, I know that tone a little too well.

"She's gonna hate me Mara, she'll never forgive me," my dad says, I hear the sound of papers being moved.

"Mom, Dad. What's going on," I ask calmly from the top of stairs. I hear my mothers heels click on the tile floor, I hear my dad's dress shoes follow shortly after hers.

"Well, Aspen, you know that your dad and I have been fighting a lot the past month as you know. He's decided to move out for a little while," my mom says with a cold hard expression. I just sat there, my face went flat and all the color was drained from my face. Mom and dad are splitting up. It's hard to picture an emotion, I should be angry or sad. But I don't know what to feel. There's a hole in my chest now.

"Fine. Whatever. Bye dad. It's not like you're always around anyways," I said and walked to my room. I laid on my bed and tried to not cry. It didn't work, I was bawling my eyes out on my bed, and to make things worse Ryder's voice echoes through my room, "You alright over there?"

I turn to my cracked window and see him leaning out his window looking at me. I quickly get up, dry my tears and walk to the window. "Yeah I'm fine," I say as I feel tears stinging my eyes.

"Aspen, don't lie, come over. Now." He slams his window and walks off. Being the loser I am, I run out the door without any shoes. I knock on his door and wait for him to open it. He doesn't though. Carlos does. "Hello beautiful," Carlos says.

"Carlos leave her alone," Ryder says showing up behind him. Mumbling, Carlos walks off.

"Come in," Ryder says and holds the door open. I walk inside, and throw myself at him, hugging him. I just stay there and cry into his chest, he doesn't say anything. He doesn't complain that I'm getting his shirt wet, all he does is hug me back. We just stay like that until I run out of tears. I pull back and wipe my nose on my sleeve.

"Come on, let's go upstairs," Ryder says and closes the door with his foot. I nod and walk upstairs to his room. When we get there he opens the window and climbs over to the tree that's in between our houses.

"What are you doing," I ask, my voice is horse from all the crying.

"Here drink the water on my desk," Ryder says and nods his head to the glass of water sitting on his desk.

I take a sip out of the cup and look at him. "Why are you looking at me," he asks harshly causing me to flinch.

"Cause I asked you a question," I say softly, my voice sounds better.

"We are climbing to the roof."

"We? No you're the one acting like a monkey." I cross my arms over my chest.

"No. We're going to the roof and you'll tell me why you were crying." I nod my head slowly and he climbs up the tree and onto the roof.

"Now come on up," Ryder says and smiles.
