EMPIRE STATE, NEW YORK

Percy and Annabeth dismounted Guido and Blackjack and sent them to the parking lot. Don't worry boss! Said Blackjack we'll be as still as a car. Now assured that he won't fly away they started walking towards the Empire State building.

"Percy you know there's a boy watching Blackjack too curiously. I reckon he can see through the mist." Annabeth said.

Percy looked at the boy. He was dressed in a designer suit, slightly shorter than himself and had deep blue eyes and dark hair. He gave the impression of a healthy corpse just like Nico.

"Let's talk to him and explain everything to him." Annabeth started to object but Percy cut her across "it is safer that way or else it would be the whole Rachel thing again" said Percy. The boy turned towards them and then they noticed a girl standing next to him.

"Hey! Dude could you tell me what are you looking at? That's my ride." Said Percy.

"By the look of your face I can possibly tell that it is your ride but I am rather intrigued by this mythical being which is supposed to be a Pegasus. Named Blackjack?"

Annabeth's mouth hung open. Percy himself was astonished. For a moment Annabeth was at a loss of words and if that was possible in this world ...then this must be a smart boy.

"Okay! Dude I need to tell you something. There are you know-"

"-many mythological beings roaming around. I know that." Said the Smart Boy.

"What's your name?"

"Artemis Fowl Junior" said the Smart Boy.

"Are you a half- ouch" exclaimed Percy massaging his foot as Annabeth cut him across and said, "you know a lot about the world. Now rest assured these things won't harm you till we are alive. Okay? Now I and my boyfriend need to go, so excuse us!" and saying this she ran off to the elevator. After ensuring that the Smart Boy was not following them they continued to the elevator.

"Okay that was the wierdest encounter ever."

"I know Percy... I just lost my head. I can't believe I said that."

"HAHAHA finally the great-"

"Drop it Perce."said Annabeth giving him a quelling look.

*gulp*"Sure.... hehe.... so...again the same old music Annabeth when are you going to change this? Maybe the next time monsters attack Manhattan they will commit suicide after listening to this."

"I know it's annoying Percy, you know I've tried to change it but-" she stopped in the mid sentence as the lift started playing Jesse McCartney.

"Whoa! How did you do that?"

"I never did anything Percy. It happened on its own accord. I wonder...."

"Maybe the lift just gets attuned to the passengers' wish?"

"That's why I call you Seaweed Brain."

"Whatever..... Come on, our stop." said Percy stepping out of the elevator. Annabeth followed him out and they proceeded towards where Olympians held their council. They entered the hall where all the Gods had their thrones but were surprised to see that they all had gathered there for apparently some useless bickering. In the middle of the room sat Zeus and to his left and right sat Poseidon and Athena respectively. Ares flashed him a cruel smile while Martha and George straightened up in greeting perhaps because Hermes was busy on his i-phone, Artemis nodded towards him and Apollo gave him one of his you-are-so-lucky-to-meet-me look. Aphrodite was looking beautiful as always and Hephaestus grunted. They first bowed in front of Zeus, he boomed, "Come Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase and I suspect other souls."

"Father!" came a startled cry towards his right and he almost jumped out of his clothes when he saw the Smart Boy remove something from above him. Poseidon almost fell off his chair and all the gods stared at him.

"Hey there...... Arty!" said Poseidon. Zeus glowered. "I'm sure all the gods are curious to know about your new kid whom you managed to hide so well from us." He said in a dangerous tone. Poseidon sighed muttered something in his beard and said, "You all are good hearted gods so I hope you'll understand me right? No point of hiding anything anyways....

So here we go... so one day I'm walking on the beach in Ireland wondering on the absence of people on the shore even though the beach is awesome with calm waters and stuff and I see the woman crying. I'm curious and I go near her and she looks up.

I stumble and oh! Beautiful she is! She looks at me with a face of absolute horror glances at my fishing rod, screams and runs. I realize she can look through the mist and I run after her. I think 'she looks exhausted' and soon enough she stumbles and faints. I take her in my arms then.... leave it. She wakes up and after lots of consoling I assure her I'm not a ghost or a very handsome devil and get her to talk. I get to know that she is now a widow and coincidently her late husband looked like me. Long story short we start meeting and eventually this leads to him. I leave them and she understands." He paused and then his tone took a wistful mood, "I buy her a fish tank to keep check on her and some 7 years later a fish in the tank tells me that she is very sick so I leave everything and rush to her side. That's when I see him and some bond is felt and I start meeting them again once in 6 months... after meeting them I often change forms and also start looking after Sally and Percy.

At the age when both are 10 I leave them completely. But this one" he nods towards Smart Boy, "creates unimaginable circumstances so that I have to return and I start keeping close tabs on both of them. Circumstances place both of you Percy and him in different dangers so I decided to claim both of you and get my sons back." He sighed "I'm sorry Percy but didn't I give a hint about it to you at your birthday after you had defeated Kronos?"

At first Percy refused to accept his dad's words but then Annabeth caught his eye and blinked once, long and slow. Percy tried to see sense, Annabeth already had so many siblings and yet she did not complain. He was no different. He had one more sibling. What's the big deal? His mind now calm he looked up and smiled at his dad. How could he stay angry now?

"It's alright dad. I understand." Poseidon let out a breath, it seemed as though he had been holding it to listen to Percy's verdict. Suddenly he burst out in excitement, "You must be surprised to know when you guys had been fighting Gaia and presumably saving the world you were not alone, Artemis here-"

"What Did You Just Call Him? how can this puny mortal share my name?" Artemis glowered.

Very sorry guys. I haven't updated in forever. Thanks for your love. I promise I'll try to be a regular now :)
