GREAT HALL, OLYMPUS

(Artemis's POV)

Artemis was glowering.

And Artemis Fowl Jr had realized that she was a foe he could not hope to conquer. He had read the myths, and if they held true, it was possible that one wrong word and the goddess could smite him as if he never existed. Measuring his next words carefully he said, " Deepest apologies, My lady but, my name is one thing that was ascertained before my birth and the only thing in my life I had no power over. The name belonged to my father, and was later bestowed upon me by my mother. But I have done justice to your name, My Lady."

Artemis raised a single brow.

But being humble was not in Artemis Fowl's blood. His voice became cold and he said, "Since the age of 12, I have been hunting arch criminals of mankind behind the shadows, I have unintentionally saved the world from harm countless times, despite being claimed a villain and a public enemy I have helped out those in need and"- his voice became cruel- "I crushed the ones who sought to destroy me and mine, no matter the consequences. So My lady, with all due respect I have not blemished your name at all."

Artemis nodded once. There might have been a hint of smile if he looked closely but he chose not to push his luck.

Posiedon cleared his throat.

"When Gaia rose my boy, she rose everywhere. You did your part as so did your brother. He was fighting his own war with Danu and" - his voice grew somber - " just like your friend Leo Valdez he-"

"Ahem- father, some tragedies I would like to keep to myself."

"Of course son, and there you have it. His story."

"You knew about it all along, did you not father?"

"Of course I did son. All your misadventures were in my terrain."

"Well I'd hate to interrupt the moment but the boy is a trespasser, and he cannot go unpunished.", glowered Zeus.

"He is new to this, he does not know the rules and he is my son, brother, he will not be punished on my watch."

"Or on mine", smirked Artemis.

Athena spoke, "I hate to say it but I cannot let such a talented mind go to waste, despite my, ah, differences with the previous children of Poseidon,"-she glanced at Percy- "I give this boy my blessing."

"Can't let cross species lovers die like this." Aphrodite giggled.

Artemis Fowl let out a breath he had not realized he had been holding. Zeus sighed, "If all concur, so be it. But-", thunder rolled in his eyes and Artemis could smell the ozone- "we will be keeping an eye on you boy. You may leave."

The dismissal was clear.

"Take him to the Camp, Percy." instructed Poseidon.

They bowed and left the hall. Outside Artemis looked at the expanse of Mount Olympus.

"Seems like the Smart Boy can be surprised.", said the girl with blond hair and stormy grey eyes, Annabeth, was her name.

"Are you referring to me?"

"Who else? Seems like you are not that smart after all. I am Annabeth." She offered her hand.

Artemis shook it firmly. "Artemis. And not smart-", he smirked, "- genius."

Percy frowned, "Come on then Genius Boy, it's high time you got introduced to your world."
