Once I reach the parking lot and finally find a spot a decent walk away from the entrance, I check my face and hair once last time. Then I make my way into the large building, locking my car behind me. Plenty of girls are chatting around their cars as I walk. I probably look like a dork coming alone but oh well.
Once I enter the glass doors, I search around. There's so many people in here already and I feel my nerves kick in. I decide to try to find a bathroom to calm myself. I roam through the crowds and down a few hallways and find a women's sign and enter.
I walk up to the large mirror and take a deep breath. Come on Kriste, you got this. I tell myself. Just go out there and meet the boys, it's your dream. Do it for Jack Gilinsky. I take one last deep breath and swing the door open, hearing a loud thud.
"Ow, fuck." I hear a male voice.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! Are you..." All of a sudden, chocolate brown eyes are looking into my own. "Oh my god, I hit Jack Gilinsky with a door." I squeal and starting to panic. "I'm so sorry, shit. I..."
"No, it's okay. It was my fault for walking with my head down anyways." He stands to his feet, towering over my height.
"Are you sure you're okay. You have a bump on your fore head." I inspect it and he nods.
"I'll survive." He smiles. "I don't think I caught your name." His eyebrows furrow together.
"I'm Kristina." I can't help but smile at how cute he is.
"Well Kristina, I'd love to chat longer, but I need to get to the meet and greet." He tells me.
"Bye Jack. Sorry again!" I say as he walks down the hallway. He turns around and smiles with a wave before running off.
I stand dumbfounded in the empty hallway trying to process what the hell just happened. Adrenaline rushes through me at the fact that Jack Gilinsky had just talked to me. He knows I exist.
I walk over to the main area and get in the back of the line for the greetings. My heart is racing from the run in with Jack and I can't stop thinking about his eyes looking down into mine. Maybe it's a good thing I have social anxiety, cause I go to talk to Jack personally, for twenty seconds but it still counts.. and hit him with a door, which I feel bad about. I can't help but laugh nervously at my crazy self.
The line isn't as long as I had expected it to be. My nerves have also calmed down since before so I'm quite thankful for that.
While waiting in line, I decide to hit up twitter for a bit. The first thing that pops into my mind is sending Jack an apology tweet. I mean I did hit him with a fucking door.
@jackgilinsky Sorry again about hitting you with the door. I hope you're head feels better!!
The line moves rather quick and soon I see all the boys. There are many large groups of girls and then the loners like me. At least I'm not the only one.
Ten minutes later and I'm next in line. Jolts of excitement fill me as I walk up to all the boys. I look at jack who is smiling at me.
"Hey, Kristina." He greets me.
"Don't worry, there's no doors around here." I tell him, laughing as he laughs along.
All the other boys stand there with a confused expression on their faces.
"You guys know each other then?" Cameron buds in.
"Let's just say we've met before." I tell them, my voice failing me as I try to sound confident.
"Ooo, Is that why you were almost late?" Jack J says smacking his arm.
"Shut up." Jack responds and a blush creeps onto his cheeks. I can't help but to let out a laugh.
I stand next to Jack for the picture and he wraps his arm around my waist. I smell his cologne as we wait, taking deep breaths to let the heavenly scent envelope my senses. We both smile at the camera as the other boys do some random pose.
The camera flashes, I collect the picture and I thank them all.
"Wait, Kristina." I hear Jack say and butterflies fill my insides as I look up from looking at the picture. "We're all going out for dinner around six at Olive Garden." He says, then clears his throat, which sounded rather sexy.
"You should come, um if you want." He looks away and my cheeks heat.
"Okay." I reply before fully processing what he said. A large smile forms on my face and he returns one.
"Cool. I'll see you there." He tells me.
Holy shit. What just happened? My thoughts spin as I walk out to my car. "OH MY GOD!" I scream once I close my car door.
I take out my phone and text Maddie.
'You'll never guess what just happened!'
I throw my phone on the passengers seat and do a little happy dance.
