Kristina's POV
We all spend the rest of the day mostly on the beach. I work on a bit of tanning while the boys play football with a water toy. I can't help but giggle as they tackle each other into the water. Few people watch but the crowds have died down.
I also decide to read while laying out, as the sun slowly fades away behind the large hotels.
The boys are now playing soccer in the sand and the beach is pretty much empty. Only a few people walk along the shore.
"Kristina, come play!" Jack calls.
"Um, I'm good." I yell back.
"I'm not taking no for an answer." He winks and I turn away.
Fine, what's it going to hurt? My reputation by sucking maybe. Ha, sucking. I throw on a tank top and my running shorts and groan before jogging over to them.
"Your on Shawn's team by the way." He tells me.
"Cool. I like Shawn." I wink at Jack and he shakes his head.
Jacks POV
Kristina and her wink made me want to lay her down on the sand and make out with her.
I felt bad for her cause she was sitting there by herself so I knew she would give in.
We play soccer for a bit and Kristina makes a few good passes. I tried to go a little easy on her but I didn't want to suck.
We all decide to eat something and meet back down for a Bon fire when it gets dark.
I take Kristina to the restaurant in the hotel and we finish up eating there. She tells me how much she loves it here and that it's exactly how she imagined it. I'm glad she's happy and having fun because it's just her and a bunch of guys. Speaking of them, she gets along with them so well. It makes things a lot easier with the guys.
We walk back up to our rooms to get ready for the fire. She puts on a sweatshirt as I move my things into her room, since I'm now sharing a room with her. This will be fun, if you know what I'm saying.
I mean I don't want to rush anything but I don't know how much more of her winks I can take. I think of how shy she was with me when I first met her. She barely even looked at me
"Ok. I'm ready." She tells me when she walks out of the bathroom and grabs a throw blanket.
"Okay." I follow her and we make our way down to the beach for the hundredth time.
When we get down there, Shawn, Carter, Taylor and Matt are setting up the wood to burn. Right before they ignite it, the rest come and join. Nash brought s'mores and soda, so that was nice of him.
I sit down and lay out Kristina's blanket and she sits next to me. The air is dense with dew but the fire quickly heats up around us.
"Want a s'more?" Nash asks.
"Of course." Kristina answers with her bright smile reflecting in the moon light. She sticks the marshmallow on a long stick and holds it in front of the blaze.
Shawn pulls out his guitar and starts playing some tunes. We chit chat for hours, telling funny stories. It actually got to the point where my sides hurt. Kristina is laughing just as much as I am.
Who would've thought I'd have the best friends I could've ever asked for and such a sweet girlfriend. I'm one lucky bastard.
"Hey what are you thinking about?" Kristina asks me quietly.
"Honestly, everything." I admit and she sends me a sincere smile.
"Are you okay?" She asks sweetly. I nod and wrap my arm around her waist.
"Never better."
"Aw. Look at you two." Cameron jeers and everyone looks at us.
"You two are so cute." Nash speaks in his girly voice and Kristina hides her face into my side. Why is she so adorable?
Kristina's POV
The night carries on as the fire gets smaller and smaller. The only heat is from sitting close to Jack.
"I'm going to bed." Shawn speaks as he stands up and grabs his guitar.
"Same." Hayes follows.
"I'm ready too." I say and Jack looks at me.
"I'll come too." He stands and helps me to my feet.
"Thanks." I tell him. Nash is telling a story as we walk away, Jack carrying the throw blanket.
We get into the hotel and no one is around. Probably because it's nearly midnight. When Jack and I reach our room, I decide on taking a quick shower to get the stench of smoke off myself.
"I'm going to shower quick." I say, grabbing clean clothes from my drawer.
"I'll take one after you." He says.
"Okay." I begin to walk away.
"You know we could shower together and save the planet." He speaks and I let out a nervous giggle.
"I'm just kidding." He states.
"I'm not." I joke just before I shut the door.
Jacks POV
I can't help but to think about the other night as I sit on the bed where Kristina and I first shared our intimate moment. I enjoyed it more than anything.
Christ, and she's naked right now, just behind that wall. Shit, stop thinking like that.
I wait patiently for her to exit the bathroom so I can clean up a bit. She only about 15 minutes. When she comes out, I enter so she can get ready for bed.
Kristina's POV again lol
"Goodnight Jack." I say before turning over to my side."
"Goodnight babe." He replies. Him calling me 'babe' is enough to kill me.
I try to fall asleep but I keep thinking about how Jack is so close to me, but not next to me.
"Jack." I whisper.
"Hmm?" He groans.
"Would it be okay if I laid by you?" I bite my lip as I wait for an answer.
"I thought you'd never ask." He sits up. "come here."
I stand from my bed and get into the other.
"What's wrong?" He wraps his arm around me and pulls me closer to him. I lay my head back on the soft pillow.
"Just can't sleep." I admit. I feel his legs entwine with mine and my heart beats faster as he brushes my skin.
"You're okay." He holds me close and I close my eyes. He's really something.
