My name is Emily. I live with my brother named Max and my mother. My mother is a single mother because my dad left us when I was 3.
My birthday is in a few days I will be turning 17. My brother is 6 and a half so I'm almost 10 years older then he is.
"Honey I'm home!" my mother called from downstairs.
"Coming mom!" I walked downstairs 2 steps at a time. My house is an average house, there are 3 floors, 4 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, etc.
I entered the kitchen with my dog (Charlie) hot on my heels.
"Hi Charlie!" my mom sweet talked with Charlie for a while so I just sat there and watched.
"Emily?"
"Yes mom?"
"Where is Max?"
"He is at a friends house! Wait what time is it?"
"A little after 5:00, why?"
SHOOT!! "Oops sorry mom I have to get Max now!"
I put on my black toms and waved my mom goodbye.
Let's see... We moved into this neighborhood 2 months ago, and I had to leave my boyfriend Jake behind, so I'm still getting used to everything.
I'm pretty sure Max's friends house is down by the park so I went that way...
A few minutes later I find myself in the middle of nowhere, at least nowhere I recognized. It was really dark now I couldn't really see anything! I'm really late now I mumbled to myself.
I stopped at my new friend Meaghans house for directions.
*Ding Dong* I heard some shuffling come from inside the house so I waited a bit more. Then I tried again.
*Ding Dong* finally someone opened the door.
I took a moment to look at the man... He was a strongly built man he looked very serious! I'm gonna have to pull a prank on this one one day!
"I was wondering if Meaghan was here" I asked as politely as I could.
"Sorry no Meaghan must have the wrong house number!" but then I heard a lady shout from behind him...
"Darling let the poor girl in!"
He moved out of the way for me to step inside. I stepped in and looked around awkwardly. "Eh hem " I shifted my attention to the brunette lady in the room. She looked a lot like Meaghan!
"Hi" I squeaked quietly.
"Come in please, make yourself at home!" I walked in to a very organized house. "Please, take a seat make yourself comfortable!"
I sat down on the red couch in what it looks like the living room.
"Ok I'm going to go strait to the point...HAVE YOU SEEN MEAGHAN!!!"
"What? No why??"
She started to tear up. She looks away...
"She went missing" she finally spoke.
"WHAT!"
"Yea we think she is kidnapped." At this point she burst into tears.
"Huh?" I asked in disbelief.
"She is gone!!!"
"I will make sure to look out for her! but in the mean time I am more than an hour late to pick up my brother mind giving directions to 1763?"
"No, of course not just the other direction next to the pool."
"Ok thanks so much!"
"Mhm honey here hand me your phone..."
"Ok"
"Here I put my phone number in it. Feel free to call me anytime. But make sure you use that number if you find Meaghan!"
"Ok don't worry I defiantly will! well I better be going!"
I walked out the door and took a left. Some man was in the dark between houses as I passed by them...?
Weird.
I approached a familiar house... I think this is it!
*Ding Dong*
"Hello!"
"Hi I'm here to pick up Max?"
"Oh yes ok, come in!"
She came back with Max..
"Thank you I'm sorry I'm late!"
"It's ok." Then she turned to Max
"Come back soon sweetie!"
"Ok!" Max exclaimed
"Lets go Max!"
We walked out the door. We started walking home when I heard a noise behind me...
I turned around hmm no one was there...
Then I heard the noise again...
"Max do you hear that?"
"Hmm no what?"
"Never mind but let's go hurry!"
We started to jog back to the house it was really dark.
Finally we reached the keys but when I turned around to get my keys out of my back pocket.
"Ahhhhhh!!!!"
When I turned around there were 2 men in front of me. They looked really scary!
