"Hey, (yn). You wanna go on a run?" Daryl asked standing at the door of my cell.
"When and with who?"
"Now and just me and you." He looked a bit nervous but you thought it was just from the lack of sleep.
"Sure, I'll be ready in a few minutes" you replied smiling. He returned the smile then turned to go to his cell to get ready also.
Once you were both ready you said your goodbyes to the group and left. "Where are we going?" You questioned.
"Anywhere that we think might have something useful."
You drove for a few more minutes until Daryl pulled into an old gas station. You walked inside, gun at hand with a flashlight making sure it was safe. "I think were good." Daryl said smiling. You smiled back then started searching.
----- 10 minutes later -----
"What should we do?!" Daryl shouted at you. Out of no where a dew minutes ago a huge herd of walkers came, pounding at the glass doors. We had very few bullets left do to fighting the Governor (that was the fist attack).
"I don't know!" You yelled over the loud moans from the walkers just a few feet away from you.
----- 3 1/2 days later (sorry I'm skipping so much -----
The walkers were still outside the door but they have calmed a bit. You and Daryl both have been living off supplies in the store which surprisingly haven't been touched since you two got here. Suddenly you heard a quiet sob coming from beside you. You looked over and saw Daryl with a few tears running down his cheeks. "We're going to die, aren't we?" He asked looking over at you.
"Don't say that, Daryl. You are the strongest person I know and we will get through this." Your eyes teared up a bit not knowing if you really would get through this. Daryl leaned in and hugged you which was very surprising since he never showed emotions like that before. You hugged for about a minute until he pulled back with his hands resting on your shoulders. Suddenly, he leaned in once more but not for a hug. He kissed you! When your lips touched sparks flew instantly. After a little while longer he gently pulled back and rested his forehead on yours. "You have no clue how long I wanted to do that. I've loved you for the longest time. Will you be mine?" He asked with a hint of fear in his eyes that you might still reject him.
"Of course." You stated smiling widely. You both leaned in again and kissed for a few seconds more until you heard lots of guns being fired outside. When all the walkers were gone you saw Rick, Carl, Maggie, Glenn, Merle (this was when he was at the prison), and a few people from Woodbury. You were going to live.
