Lost

Chapter 10

I texted Riley.

No response. I kept checking every single minute. Then I unlocked my phone and it said "text read 4:03" which was exactly ten minutes ago. Then he responded.

"What" was all he said. All he could say to me.

I responded with "can't we just talk"

I then waited 20 minutes before texting him "sorry if I bothered you. I won't text you again because I see that I'm not good enough to be texted" and I threw my phone at the wall and began crying.

The most frustrating part was that no matter who I texted. I was all alone on this. Most friends just said "sorry" or "just ignore him back" but no matter what I did, I couldn't do anything. I was all alone and no one could help. One friend had even responded to my text with "It's your fault. You should probably fix whatever you did wrong".

Not even Oliver could help. He simply responded with "Just ignore him back".

And from the text I sent Riley there was never a response. Because he had not a care in the world for anymore. I could die tonight and it probably wouldn't even phase him. He might now even attend my funeral. I just smacked my face down on my bed sheets and cried forever. All the history. All the time was lost. Elementary school.

Middle school.

High School.

All gone.

And lastly I was gone. I was no longer a present part of his life. And seeing him in the halls killed me inside because he couldn't even look at me.

And suddenly my world was spiraling down. Each hill I went down a friend was left behind. Forgiven by me. Not by them. However they were never forgotten by me. One of my weaknesses im was probably that I remembered them all. I remembered their smiles. Their laughs. Our memories. And everytime I saw them. A mental slides how of those moments would come on in my head. And then it would get to the end.

And the end was a fight. And there was always one last word. And every single time, the last word was
