Chapter Twenty One

"Undyne?" Frisk wondered.
It sounded familiar. Had Papyrus said that name?

M.K laughed,
"Yeah! She is doing her daily patrol! I bet she will find a human this time!" The boyish creature seemed excited.

Frisk frowned, it seemed they were walking together now.
"Can you tell me about her?" Frisk asked.

M.K smiled
"Of course!! Undyne is head of the Royal guard. She was trained by the king herself!! She beats up bad guys and humans!" He sounded enthusiastic.

Frisk frowned,
Oh, shit.
He was a human, wasn't he?
"Oh." He acknowledged.

M.K smiled,
"Yeah!" He seemed cheerful enough.
As they continued walking, Frisk heard thundering footsteps, and Chara held onto Frisk,
"She's coming." Chara whispered.

Frisk tensed, as M.K had ran off to hide.
He ran into the grass and ducked, looking out as the armored figure approached.
She stood at frisk's height, maybe a bit taller,
But she was definitely intimidating.

Undyne had summoned a spear, and slowly began to charge at the duo.
Then, MK jumped between them,
"Yo!! Are you guys going to fight? Did one of you find  a huma-"
Undyne grabbed the child by his cheek, and dragged him away.
He didn't argue.

Frisk glanced around, and took this as his opportunity to run.

He ran away, as far as he could go,
After a few minutes, he was lost.

And, surprisingly, so was Chara.
"Frisk? I've never seen this place before.." She murmured. It looked like the rest of waterfall...

Frisk pushed his way through grass, before he heard someone,

"Hey, you. In the striped shirt."

Suddenly, Frisk turned around,
"Hello?"
He couldn't find anybody.

"Can you do something about your, ahem, friend?" The invisible creature wondered.

Chara thought the voice was familiar, but just couldn't place it,

"Yes, your friend. The one telling lies, the one wearing a creepy smile." The creature described, still nowhere to be seen.

With the weight on Frisk's back gone, the creature commented,
"Oh? Where'd they go? Oh well." And said nothing else.

Frisk realized Chara was gone, and glanced around.
He had faith she would be back.

He continued to walk, enjoying the tranquil terrain.
