Frisk didn't mind stopping, though he was curious to why.
He found the statue to be quiet grim. A solemn goat creature sitting with his legs crossed, and worn down by years of erosion, due to water dripping from the ceiling.

Chara walked over to it, and placed a hand on the rough rock of the statue.
She observed every crack, and seemed to notice something odd. Chara reached a hand down to between the legs of the statue, feeling around.
"Frisk. In the next room, there should be an umbrella. Can you get it?" Chara asked.

Frisk frowned, but nodded,
"Of course." He said, and wandered off.

As he got to the next room, water began to drop from the ceiling like rain. Frisk had to run to get an umbrella, and ran out of the room.

Chara looked to him, before saying,
"Put the umbrella in the statue," she said, directing him to between the statues legs.

Frisk set the umbrella where she had directed, and he heard a click.

Suddenly, a music box began to play the most lovely song.

Chara seemed shocked, before she seemed very eager to leave,
"Alright, that's it.." Chara said, wandering off without Frisk's okay.

Frisk frowned, but followed. He felt there was more to the statue, but didn't want to be too far behind.

Chara didn't seem to mind the rain all that much. It seemed to not phase her at all.
Actually, it did phase her.
It phased through her.

Frisk grabbed another umbrella and followed Chara, before getting stopped by Monster Kid.

"Yo! You can hold one of those? Cool!" They smiled and went to join Frisk.

Frisk looked to him, but was silent, as he continued to walk.

M.K began to talk. Surely, they could just talk to Frisk and have it be a one sided conversation. Not only would M.K not notice, but he would continue on and on.

"So, Undyne should be somewhere up ahead. Y'know, Undyne is pretty great. I mean, she protects all the monsters, trains and manages everyone in the Royal guard, does daily patrols, and I think she manages to keep a girlfriend that whole time, too. I don't know how Undyne does it." M.K said
"Not even I can do that, and she does it with everything else she has to do piled onto that.
The king is pretty cool too. He came to my school and did a lesson on gardening." M.K continued .

Chara was now walking besides Frisk.

As M.K continued talking, they neared a rock ledge.
It was a bit smaller than Frisk, but both Chara and M.K were unable to get high enough to get out.

Frisk walked up to the ledge, and pulled himself up and over.
A joking shout from Chara;
"You go, baby!"
Encouraging enough.

He laid on his stomach and reached both hands over the ledge, picking up M.K, and setting him on the ledge.
Frisk reached back over and gave Chara his hand and pulled her up.

M.K laughed,
"Yo! Do you have an imaginary friend or something?" He asked.

Frisk realized that he must have looked pretty odd, giving the air a boost up the ledge.

"Can you keep a secret?" Frisk asked M.K, who nodded.

"There's a ghost with us." Frisk smiled

M.K gasped,
"Oh! That's so cool!!!" They smiled,
Frisk smiled and nodded, but continued walking.

Chara giggled, but soon said,
"We are near the end."
