As he continued to walk, he read the ancient glyphs along the walls of the rooms.
The signs that told of massacre and slaughter.

Frisk shuddered, but continued to read.
It was never significant enough to mention, but Frisk had been collecting random items he'd find from each area.
He had a ribbon, a toy knife, a pair of pink gloves, a bandana, and recently, he found a pair of shoes, and a soaked tutu caught in the waterfall stream.

"Chara?" He called, and his companion walked up behind him, back from her absence.
"Yes?" She wondered.

"You know almost everything about this place, right?" Frisk asked.

"Not.. exactly. The history of this place, and the rooms, and puzzles.
I don't know the people. They weren't really around in my time," Chara admitted.

"Do you know who owned these?" Frisk asked, sitting down and showing her the random items.

Chara picked up the items and separated them into catagories,
"Yeah. The fallen humans before you." Chara said,
"How did you find these? All the people who owned these are dead." Chara laughed in a tone that would be sad, but she had been trying too hard to make sure she wasn't upset over it.

"Oh. I.. didn't know. I just found them around the underground." He explained.

"Oh, well. I.. I never knew them personally. But I know a bit about them." Chara kneeled down and set the items into categories.

Toy knife and Ribbon, right below it was the bandana and gloves,
To the right of those items, Chara laid down the tutu and shoes.

"Alright. The Toy Knife and Ribbon belonged to a girl, maybe around twelve. I don't know her name, but let's call her Patience.
She was pale, and had long golden hair, and a light blue dress. She was known for her ability to wait for attacks to come to her, and keep her cool in stressful situations.
If I recall correctly, she died in snowdin.

The Bandana and Gloves belonged to a young boy, maybe seven, once again, I didn't know him personally, so let's call him Bravery. He had dark skin and was very short. He wore a tanktop and shorts, and was known for his ability to run into battles without any fear, and staying optimistic.
He was the brother of Patience, and died of cold in snowdin, waiting by his sister's corpse" Chara explained.

"Finally, the Tutu and shoes belonged to a young girl, Integrity. She was maybe seven, and had dark skin and hair. She wore a pink leotard, to go with her ballet shoes and tutu.
She was known for her grace in battle, and around this part in Waterfall, her foot got snagged in the river and she drowned to death." Chara finished.

Frisk frowned,
"Oh my god.. that must have been so scary for them.." he whispered.

Chara shrugged,
"I have a lot of respect for them, but I never really liked them." Chara admitted.

"Why not?" Frisk asked.

"Because they were humans, Frisk. They suffered from human nature,
The urge to destroy and conquer, making everyone belittled beneath them. If they weren't like it then, they would have been by now. Even if they were a young girl like the girl who drowned, or loved their sibling above all else like the boy who froze to death." Chara grumbled.

Frisk frowned,
"Chara, I don't see why you think such awful things in humans." He muttered.

Chara glanced to him, and smiled,
"That's good!  I don't want you to. Please pay no mind to me, and when you get to the surface, keep yourself safe."

Frisk then laughed,
"I will be safe. You'll be coming with me, right?" He asked.

Silence.
"Perhaps." Chara glanced off.
"Pick up your stuff, be better go. Undyne is catching up." Chara said.
He couldn't see Undyne, but he felt adrenaline begin to course through him.

"Alright, Chara. Thanks." Was all he could say, before running off.

Soon, the grounding disappeared, and he was walking on a bridge with no support beneath it.
That made him nervous, but he pressed on,
Dead ends were found.
It must have took 5 tries, before he lost breath and sat down,

He saw a woman approaching.
The thud of her armor, the glowing spear in her hand.
Whatever determination Frisk had at the moment was lost.

The woman aimed the spear at the teenaged boy, and he looked up to her,
"Will it hurt?" Frisk asked quietly.

Undyne hesitated, and dropped her spear, mirroring his words,
"Will it hurt? I.." she looked at it.

For a reason beyond Frisk, Undyne looked at him,
"Watch your head." And she summoned a spear, backed off, and cut the bridge with a swift swipe.

He looked at Undyne for only a moment, before the bridge creaked and he began to fall, frisk felt his vision fade.

It was about as long as a fall as the jump down Mt. Ebott.

Then a soft impact, but he had grown sick from fear and lost consciousness
