After a few minutes of hugging, allowing the slowly falling snow to calm their minds, they decided they must continue their adventure.
Frisk noticed, though, that Chara had fallen asleep against him, having grown comfortable and moved a bit in her sleep so it was a bit difficult to get up.
He also noticed Chara was moving a bit, and groaning.
Frisk stood up, moving the sleeping Chara so she laid on his back and he held her legs.
Chara held on to him as if instinct. She really was only a child, wasn't she?
Frisk continued to walk. Papyrus was no where to be seen, and he passed a few easy puzzles.
And a plate of spaghetti??
And a snowball. He felt Chara would have something snarky to say about it, but she was still sleeping peacefully. He felt he shouldn't mention the dog that was suspended from a string up on the roof of the underground.
Soon enough, he found a town.
Cheerful, and snowy.
However, he earned some fearful and disapproving glances from the monsters.Chara stirred,
Without opening her eyes, she asked,
"Are we in snowdin town?"Frisk glanced to Chara,
"How'd you know?" He asked.Chara shuddered, pretending to be disgusted,
"The happiness and cheerfulness is utterly awful and awakened me." Chara murmured, but held onto frisk tightly."How long was I asleep?" She asked as they walked,
"An hour or so." Frisk replied."You should have woken me." Chara said dully. She hadn't wanted to miss this, even if she hated Snowdin, she didn't want Frisk to get hurt.
Frisk laughed,
"Sorry, you were too cute to wake up." He winked.Chara frowned,
"God dang it, Frisk." She muttered, feeling her face heat up.
It occurred to her, Chara had no way of telling what she looked like.// okay do not think this next paragraph is inappropriate its literally just part of most girls growing up
She didn't feel the same, maybe a bit heavier or perhaps wider, and her chest was sore. Chara wasn't taller, though, but she knew that she had gotten busty, she couldn't really see her feet if she looked down while standing.
Her hips were almost at shoulder width, and due to not gaining much actual weight over time, her stomach concaved.Frisk was right before,
Chara did grow up. She didn't fit much in her old clothes.Frisk laughed, snapping Chara out of her thoughts as he approached the end of Snowdin.
Chara smiled, they were so close to leaving, but heavy snow came, blocking their way and limiting their sight.
Frisk grunted, and trudged on. He felt his fingers and nose go numb.
God, it was cold.Frisk felt something hard hit him in the face, and staggered back with a groan, as he heard shouting.
"Human? My!! I have been looking for you!!!" He exclaimed.
Frisk rubbed his head and looked at Papyrus,
"And!! Now I must capture you! After all! I need to be part of the Royal guard.
Don't worry! I only need to capture you, then give you to Undyne!!
Then,, she'll probably give you to Asgore,,
Who will do..
Something." It occurred to him that he had no idea what happens to humans once captured.Nonetheless, a battle started!
Papyrus stood tall, and started off with an attack.
A row of bones
It was impossible to dodge, but all of them glowed a bright blue.Chara whispered,
"Just don't move." She said.Frisk looked surprised, and Chara muttered,
"Trust me."Sure enough, they phased right through Frisk.
He shuddered, but got over it.
Suddenly,
He felt very heavy.Frisk's red illuminated soul turned blue,
"NYEH! You're blue now! That's my attack!" He announced.Frisk looked to Papyrus with confusion,
Before looking to Chara,
"How do I get passed him?" He asked.
Chara frowned,
"I know a lot of things, but I've never met Papyrus. I guess you could always kill him, thinking logically, but..
Don't do that. You just want to keep on sparing him, because here's the thing, battles can't last forever. He needs to get tired sometime." Chara reminded.Frisk didn't like the thought of killing Papyrus.
Though, curious to what would happen, he decided it was stupid and against morals."I don't want to fight!" Frisk insisted to Papyrus, who merely laughed, and aimed another attack.
Frisk figured it out quickly, realizing he could jump higher, and jumped over most of the attacks.
Frisk realized sparing wasn't doing much.
He then looked to Papyrus and winked,
"Hey, Pap's, you're pretty cool." He attempted,Papyrus seemed confused.
"I know!! I am the great Papyrus!" He reminded."Yeah, but cooler than even the great papyrus! You look good in that,, costume?" Frisk attempted again.
Papyrus frowned,
"Stop flirting! We are fighting!" He said,This wasn't working.
He successfully made Chara angry, though. The girl had gotten off his back and moved to the side.
"Papyrus is too busy fighting to flirt back." Chara said.
After awhile, the attacks got harder.
Frisk got impaled right through his stomach, but the wound faded to a bloody bruise, since the attacks were magic.
Chara seemed worried.Papyrus aimed one final attack, that Frisk managed to dodge, and that's when Papyrus began to breathe heavily.
"Human.. I.. will...
Catch you.." he said breathily.Frisk held his wounded stomach, but stood his ground.
The battle ended due to Papyrus being too weak to fight,
"I.. can't even catch.. a human." He frowned.Frisk smiled,
"Hey. We can be friends, and you won't need to capture me." Frisk suggested.Papyrus seemed overjoyed,
"Really?? Wowie!! Thank you, human!!
You should go visit Undyne! I will later!!" He suggested, before running off.Frisk watched him go, before groaning,
His hand was covered in his own blood.Chara rushed to his side,
"Frisk, we need to get you somewhere safe. I know a place in Waterfall. Come on." She said, giving him a light push in the direction of the next biome,And so they went.
|| 1007 words just so I can get them out of Snowdin bc I hate Snowdin Sorry snow lovers, Snowdin is too tedious for me.
