Part 6: parks, puppies and hanging.

•Elena's point of view•

Jason is coming, in ten minutes. I'm still in my Pjs, in bed. Messy unbrushed hair, and clean make up free face.

I jump from my bed and run over to my closet. I pull out the quickest least ugly outfit that I can think of.

A pair of black knee ripped jeans, a white mid-drift and a light blue denim jacket. After getting changed I walk into my bathroom and quickly brush my hair. With only a few minutes left I do my best to brush out the nots with just enough time to brush my teeth sparkling clean.

I receive a message from Jason saying "I'm here"
I grab my phone and small hanging shoulder bag and run out the door, my face make up free. Great!

"Hey Jason!" I say happy to see my new and only friend standing out side my front door.

"Hey Elena, how are you bestie?" He jokes and walks with me to his car.

"I'm okay, I guess." I say getting into his car. When ever someone asks me how I'm doing, do I tell them the truth. "I hate my life, I want to die." Or should I pretend that I'm happy and okay?

"Okay, that's it. Okay. We'll Miss Hamilton by the end of today you will be feeling amazing!" Jason says excitement in his voice as he speeds down the street.

"So what are we doing?" I ask as he drives into the car park of our local park.

"We are going to have some fun." He says as he makes his way out off the car. I nod my head and step out as well.

"Alright Mr, wait. What is your last name?" I ask, I don't think he told me his last name.

"McCann."

"What?"

"McCann, that's my last name." He says as he takes a seat at a bench.

"Oh McCann, I like it." I tease making him lightly chuckle.

"So Miss Hamilton, tell me about yourself."

"Well what would you like to know?" I ask and take a seat across from him.

"I don't know, tell me. What's your favourite colour?" He asks.

"Well, It depends. My favourite colour to wear is black, but my favourite colour in general is pink." I say as he nods.

"I like black to, it's a good colour. Makes me feel bad, and mysterious." He says making me giggle.

"A puppy!" I squeal.

"A what?" He asks confused.

"Puppy!" I squeal again like a little child and run over to the puppy that sniffs around the grass for food.

"Hey little guy." I coo as I bend down next to the small dog.

"Awe, how cute." Jason says sneaking up on the puppy and I.

"Where's his or hers owner?" I ask.

"I don't know, does he have a collar?" Jason asks.

"No, maybe he's a stray." I say, I love animals and it hurts when I see them astray.

"Well, we can be his or hers new owner now I guess. I mean until we find his home."

"Yeah I guess, we can put up an add."

"Alright little buddy, you can hang out with us for a while." Jason says picking up the dog.

"Jason, you should check if it's a girl or a boy." I say as we take a seat back at our park bench.

"What me, I don't want to check." He laughs.

"Oh come on." I giggle, I really don't want to be calling the puppy an 'it' until we find his or hers owners.

"Yup, it's a boy." He says his face a bit flustered.

"Jason, don't be embarrassed." I laugh.

"I'm not." He chuckles, yeah okay.

"Wait, so where were we before I saw this cute little guy?" I ask, and pat the top of the puppy's head.

"Uhm, we were asking questions." Jason says.

"Oh yeah, thats right."

After an hour or so of hanging at the park asking questions we ended up playing with the puppy.

Jason is so fun to talk to and hang out with. It's just gone past lunch time and we are back at my house to hang out.

"So what should we do?" Jason asks.

"Well, I'm hungry. How about we order some pizza and watch a movie?" I ask as we walk into my bedroom.

"Sounds good bestie." Jason jokes and plonks himself onto my bed, the puppy still in his hands.

The rest of today should be good.
