It's five days until finals. Kara is currently practicing her singing while you do the choreography. You don't necessarily understand why she thinks practicing something you mastered is so important, but oh well. Lowbloods are really, really weird.

You also told your parents about Karas' lowblooded fathers' threat. They promised that if he does hurt you, they'll turn him into the police.

It's also weird is that she doesn't have six letters. Well, you have nine unlike the normal eight, but highblood status should excuse that.

You wave away the instructors, wishing for a five minute break. They walk off and you sit down, take out your phone, and listen to the song you guys had chosen. You two decided not to do Echo, but instead Irony. "It better fits us! And the high notes aren't that high!" She explained. High notes Shmigh notes, they are just there for sound.

You walk up to the directors and tell them that you're good for the rest of the day. They start walking to another group, and start helping them with their choreography. You don't know their names, and you don't care, because you're going to win this.

You slam open the door to the small studio Kara was in. She growls and spins around. "What are you doing?"

"I'm practicing with you, like I'm supposed too." You hiss in response.

She rolls her eyes and goes back to practicing promptly. "Give me a chance to prove my worth, I constantly search for a place to cry, why won't these just stop pouring from my eyes?"

You take a deep breath and join in. "It's hard to constantly think of the same things, it's just unnecessary to think too much!"

Kara joins in while you continue. "You always told me stars would guide me back home, although they only show at night! You always showed me so much kindness, I don't deserve it I have failed you too much! I think my tiny heart is going to split, just leave it be for now..."

You two turn to each other. Kara looks away; she seems to have a small bit of red on her face. You notice you have a purple and hiss at yourself. Damn it Mari, now you look vulnerable!

You look at the clock above the door and turn to Kara. "It's almost time to leave, I'll see ya tomorrow."

"See you." She mutters, still looking at the floor.

You walk out confidently, and exit the large building. Your parents wait outside and you light up a little when you see them.

"So, how was practice today?" Your mother asks.

You shrug. "Fine, I guess."

"Do you have something you want to tell us?"

You look down at the floor. What will they say about what happened in the practice room?

"Are you okay?" You mom squats down and gently grabs your arm.

"I was singing with Kara in the practice room and once we finished we were both blushing," you whisper.

She stands back up and makes a 'tsk' sound. "Well, that is only one time. Don't let yourself be vulnerable around her; she's like those honey bloods. Deadly."

You nod. You start to make the opinion that what you're parents are saying is complete crap. Just don't make her angry and you're fine... are they just skeptical or scared of lowbloods?

You make a bet to yourself. If you manage to befriend Kara, and possibly become her morail, you'll prove your parents wrong. If you two still hate each other by the end of the week...

Some extra measures might have to be enforced.
