Chapter 14
Talia’s POV
Today is the day that my dad is coming to visit me. I am super nervous. I was getting the living room ready and was almost done when Trinity plopped down on the couch with a bowl of cereal.
“Trinity!” I said
“You know that your dad has met you before and you have met him.” Trinity said.
“Trinity?”
“Yes?”
“Get out.”
“Got it. The 16 year old turning 17 tomorrow is freaking out.”
“That’s right!”
She left and the doorbell rang I ran to the door and opened it to my dad.
“Daddy!” I yelled and ran into his arms.
“Hey Talia!” He said.
“Hey I came to return.. Well hello there.” Ross said walking up. I turned to Ross and smiled.
“Ross Lynch.” My dad said.
“Yeah he’s my neighbor.” I said
“I thought you let that go a year ago?”
“No.”
“I should have known you moved here to meet him.”
“Dad not now.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about?”
“Dad please.” He was staring at Ross.
“I came to return your jacket. Rydel was to tired to get off the couch.” Ross said.
“Don’t remind me.”
“Never again.” I giggled and he stared at me. I felt like the world stopped.
“Talia I thought maybe we could go to dinner?” My dad said breaking my silence.
“Yeah sure. I’ll see you tomorrow at my party Ross?” I asked
“I wouldn’t miss it.” Ross said. He turned towards his house and put his hands in his pockets.
“Dad!” Tianna said running outside. She hugged dad.
“How does dinner sound?” Dad asked Tianna.
“Sounds good.” Tianna said.
“Talia when will you be ready?” Dad asked me.
“Just let me grab my jacket.” I said.
“Ok.” I walked inside. Then I grabbed my jacket and ran outside.
“Talia. Ross is on the phone for you.” My mom asked.
“I actually have to go to dinner with dad and Tianna so later.” I said and walked outside.
“Tim is here already?” Mom asked.
“Yes mom.” Yes my dads name is Tim.
~2 Hours Later~
“Thanks for dinner dad!” Tianna said and ran inside.
“Thanks dad.” I started to walk inside but dad stopped me.
“Talia. What happened with you and Ross?” Dad asked.
“What are you talking about?”
“Did you ever date Ross?”
“I did but if you haven't noticed we are 2 years apart.”
“I know that but what happened.”
“Dad. I don’t feel like talking.” I kissed his cheek and walked inside.
