Louis's POV
My phone was ringing, and I sat up. There were already 3 missed calls, all from Kristel Clifford. I slid my thumb on my phone to answer.
"Hello?"
"Good morning, Louis!" came the voice I knew so well.
"Good morning..."
I attempted to sound sleepy, but I was actually already wide awake.
"Rise and shine, bro. Hurry or we'll be late on the first day of our senior year!" she said enthusiastically.
"Alright. I'll be there in fifteen minutes. See ya." I said, still trying to sound sleepy.
"Okay! See you!"
And she hung up.
I took a shower, ate breakfast, and rode my bike to the Cliffords' residence. She was already sitting on the porch when I got there. And she was on the phone. As always.
She hung up when she saw me, ran to their garage, and returned half a minute later with her bike.
"Uhh... I was thinking of saying hi to your mum." I told her.
"Nah, it's alright. I already said goodbye, and I think she's busy."
"Fine. But I'm stopping by after school." I said.
"Of course you are."
And we set off.
Kristel's POV
We reached school just in time to see Louis' best friend, Liam, getting out of his car. Liam was this rich and popular type. But, though very much opposites, he and Louis always get along well.
"Hey, man! 'Sup?" cried Louis as we approached the car, dragging our bikes with us.
Liam looked around, and smiled when he saw us.
"Hey. Nothing, mate. Just the usual." he smirked.
"Mind if we keep our bikes here?" Louis asked.
"'Course not. Hey, I gotta go. See ya around."
