Courtney's POV
My name's Courtney Prior, and I'm Liam Payne's girlfriend.
-Flashback- (Author's POV)
Summer before their senior year...
"Courtney Prior!" The woman at the counter called.
The girl approached the counter and claimed her drink. As she was turning away from the counter, she bumped into someone and spilled her drink all over him.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" she said to the guy.
"No, Courtney, it's alright." he said, smiling.
She automatically looked to the cup which had her name on it.
"It's me, Liam. Liam Payne. We were classmates back in grade school, remember?"
"Oh, right. Liam. I'm really sorry. Can I make it up to you somehow?" she asked him.
"How 'bout letting me get you another drink and drive you home?" he said, still smiling.
"There's really no need to..." she began.
"No, I insist. If you don't mind, of course."
"Of course not, but..."
He didn't let her finish.
"Okay, then. If you don't mind waiting here..." He said as he stood up.
He went to the counter and ordered two drinks. He went back to sit with Courtney while waiting for it.
"So are you alright with me driving you home? Or are you supposed to go somewhere else?"
"Uh, no. It's getting late. I told my Mum I'm just going to buy something." she replied.
"Okay then." he said, smiling broadly.
"Liam Payne!" called someone from the counter.
He looked at her before he stood up. When he got back, she stood up as well. They went outside and Liam led the way to his car.
He opened the door of the passenger seat to let her in. Then he went around the car to the driver's seat.
"So, where..." he began.
But she cut him off and told him her address. He smiled, nodded, and drove.
They were silent the whole time.
Until Courtney spoke.
"That's our house. Thanks, Liam." she said.
Liam quickly went outside and ran to the other side of his car to open the door for her. They exchanged smiles as she went out of the car.
"Are you free tomorrow?" Liam suddenly said to her.
"Yeah." she replied simply, and smiled.
"Wanna go to the park?"
"Sure." she was still smiling.
"I'll pick you up after lunch, then." he said, and he was also smiling by then.
"Thanks again, Liam. Drive safely." she said to him as she turned to her house.
"Good night!" Liam called as he went inside his car.
A/N: If this update's still short, then I'm really sorry. But hey, it's Courtney's first, and really short (XD) POV! :D A bit of a spoiler, but the next chapter's still more of her flashbacks. And sorry I don't update much, but next update's coming, ASAP. Just 'cause I'm a bit back on track with what I'm writing. So, sorry again, and look out for the next chap! :)
