Chapter 6: Sleepover!!!

Natalie's POV

"Why was she here?" I asked Diana suspiciously.

"She.. is my best friend"

"Seriously?!?! Danielle?? Your best friend??" I said in between laughs.

"She's not that bad... if you try to get to know her" she said getting a bit angry.

"She was my best friend too, you know, but that was just to embarrass me"

"Really??"

"Ya. At first, she'll pretend to be your best friend but then when you tell her some secret about yourself, she'll spread it all around campus. And she even tries to make videos of you in which you look super-embarrassing and then sends it to everyone. She did that to me too. I mean, she tried to" I explained to her.

"What do you mean by 'tried to'?" she said while making air quotes around tried to.

"Once when we were in the cafeteria, Danielle fell and everything on the tray fell on me. It was on my hair too so this guy, Josh, helped me take it out. I thought Danielle actually fell but she had done that purposely. She then took out her camera and snapped many pics of us... And it looked like we were kissing. I got so angry when I saw her do that that I took her phone, three it on the ground and stamped on it. And then Rick, this guy I liked, somehow came to know about it and stopped talking to me. And that's not the only thing she's done. You know she used to be the popular girl at the Uni but after I came, things changed. She was friends with me only because she wanted to use and embarrass me" I explained. Diana had a horrified expression on her face.

"She really did that?" she said.

"Yeah. So be careful" I warned her. "Now lets start the project"

We had finished half of the project when I received a message from Zack.

'Can I plz cum to ur place for dinner? Plz don't say no' It said.

'I'm still at Diana's' I replied.

"Ummm, Diana, can we continue this project tomorrow?" I asked Diana.

"What happened?"

"Zack wants to come over for dinner"

"Oh okay. So are you two, like, a thing?"

"No no, we're not" I said while laughing. "He's my brother. Actually my half-brother"

"I'm sorry for bringing up that topic" she said morosely.

"It's ok. Really. I don't mind it. I'm lucky to have a brother like him" I said while grinning.

"Then we'll continue this project tomorrow" she said.

You sure?" I asked her. She nodded in reply.

"K then, see ya later and be careful with Danielle" I said while walking towards the door.

"Yup, I will. Don't worry" she replied. "Byyyeeee"

"Byyeee" I said and walked out of the door.

'I'll be there in 10 mins. U can also leave' I sent the message to Zack. I instantly got a reply from him saying,

'Ya, I'm leaving. Thnx for letting me cum'
