Chapter 6 Tori

Lis and I helped the boys out the window promising to meet them at the cabin after school.

We left the room quickly and made it to class, stepping over the threshold as the bell went.

English, History, Art, Science and Math were absolutely boring and with my eyes hidden behind my sunglasses and my brilliant acting skills not one teacher guessed that I had a Migraine and a hangover.

Last lesson was full of anticipation, I couldn't wait to see Ambrose tonight.

When the bell went Lis was out of her seat before me and we were running back to our dorm room laughing and giggling.

We snuck out of the room again about 30 seconds later after we ditched our bags on our beds.

We passed the Academy front doors quickly and I stopped, backtracked and stared at it.

"What?" Lis asked confused.

"The guards" I said "Where are they?" I asked.

"They're.."Lis came to stand beside me and I knew she was going to point at them but they really weren't there.

"Where are the security guards?" Lis asked.

We cautiously left the Academy through the front doors to find half the student body outside on the oval.

"Did I miss something?" I asked.

"When were we allowed outside?" Lis said.

"More importantly. How are we going to get across this oval without being noticed?"

"Let's find out" Lis grinned evilly and started walking across the oval casually, trying not to attract any unwanted attention.

I followed her quickly, excitement making me jittery.

I jumped when Lis spoke "Hurry up bitch, we have places to be"
