Diamond Dojo

I woke up with a start. It was that damn nightmare again. I don't know what it was, or what it meant, but I knew it was the same one, every time I woke up. I couldn't remember what happened in it, but it was bad. People died. I looked over at my clock. It said it was 2:00 AM. I guess I woke up to early. Oh well.
I got my training gear on and went into the dojo. Our new house was where the school used to be before Sally warped it out of existence. She still needed to learn control, but once she had learned that, she could be the most powerful diamond in existence. Time had decided to live out the rest of his days here, too. He was still blind, and weak, but he was still able to control time, which made him a valuable asset. Sally missed her teacher, but we attempted to train her. Ditanium was... somehow, not able to be affected, so we built a ditanium chamber for her to practice. I used dummies made out of steel, I couldn't affect metal, so it worked out well. I started the simulation, and ran at the first dummy. I jumped on him, and grabbed his face. The wires pulled it to the ground as I lifted my death beam. I fired it into three of them, and threw a ball into a second group. One by one they all fell down, but I kept throwing death in every direction. I hit one of them down and standing behind it was Fred. I almost touched him with my hand, but stopped inches away from his face.
"You do know how early it is, right?"
"Around 3."
"Three thirty, and you started an hour and a half ago."
"What of it?"
"There's such a thing as too much training, you know."
"Well, let's find out how much is too much then." I put my hand to the ground and a tree sprouted up with stiff blades of grass like arrows attached to it. I picked all of them up and shot three shots into the heads of the dummies. Fred sighed and shot a beam of fire, melting the dummies into puddles.
"You need rest, Chris. This is unhealthy."
Mary trudged into the room. "Also, when you do this it wakes us up too."
"Oh sorry everyone. Except Eliza. I can feel your essence, stop going through my backpack."
Electricity flowed out of my backpack and it formed together into Eliza. She stuck her tongue out at me and then kissed Fred before walking back to her room. There was a thud under our feet and a muffled, "Aw, shit, my head!"
Fred leaned down towards the ground. "Eddy, we keep telling you, you may be able to control earth, but these floors are made of wood."
"I know, I know, I'll use the front entrance." The rumbling in the ground moved towards the entrance. Sally stepped out from behind Mary, with the same blank expression on her face. She smiled and light poured out from behind her. Mary winced.
"Agh, damnit Sally."
"Oh, I'm sorry." She said as the roof started raining. She put the glove I gave her over her diamond and the unearthly rain stopped. Mary dried herself off and walked up to me.
"Could you please let me sleep."
"You can go to sleep if you want to."
"It's hard with you thinking things though."
"I think a lot of things, what do you want me to stop thinking?"
"Everything."
"That's physically impossible."
"Shut up. I'm going to try and sleep for a few hours. I hate you." She walked away.
"Love you too Mary."
A hand made of water popped up from around the corner and flipped me off before it dissipated into a puddle. I laughed and turned back to Fred.
"You really do need sleep. This is like, the 20th time in a row, you're gonna have some kind of psychotic breakdown."
"I know, I'm just having nightmares."
"I don't know how anyone could have nightmares in that bed, it's like the perfect level of soft and warm."
"I don't know, it's probably just me."
"Maybe. If Air could get through that field, he could be trying to choke you in your sleep."
"He can't get out of that field."
"But, even if he could-"
"He can't."
"I know, but-"
"Goodnight Fred."
He slumped down and walked back to his room. I didn't want to go back and see Air. He was manipulative, and a murderer. I didn't care what he said to me, he deserved to rot in that cell. I almost hoped he would try and reach out of the bars. The second he touched that field it would collapse in on him and he would be killed with agonizing slowness. It's what he deserved. I still missed Steven, he wasn't just useful for making things practically out of thin air, he was my teacher. He was my friend. I decided that I didn't want to fix the dummies right away, and I went outside. I was met with a number of people outside my door in bulletproof vests, with guns aimed at me. I sighed.
"Guys, do we have to do this now? It's too early."
"We see your dojo here as a threat to mankind."
"Do you see any non diamond people living anywhere near here?"
"We're placing you under arrest," Said the clearly new guy who looked extremely confident, "come quietly or we will use force."
"And the people who do live within the like, 20 mile radius say we're great people too."
"So be it. Open fire!"
They started shooting but all of their bullets turned to dust as they passed through my invisible field of death energy. They eventually stopped firing, and I brushed the dust off my shoulders. The new guy, looking less confident then before, stumbled back a little before pulling out a device. I drew my bow and shot the device into a tree behind them all. They started backing away, and I made a small opening in my field of death. I pushed it out when they started trying to run, and they all fell down. The new guy stared at me in disbelief. I guess we had become some sort of legend in young kids, or even adults, but I didn't care.
"They're all in a coma, it'll last for about 90 days, but you can get them out of it using this." I handed him the bottle of green liquid and he took it with shaky hands. I turned and walked back to the door.
"It seriously is getting late though. My daughter is trying to sleep. Please don't pick them up with a chopper or anything."
He nodded and I nodded back. It was time for me to go back to my nightmare.
