Chapter 9

We got up and got Sophie up and decided to go out for a bit.

We went into town and bought Sophie a new dress before we made our way back home.

Nathan walks out onto the road by accident not looking as a car comes.

"NATHAN!!!!!" I scream but it was too late...

I hold Sophie close to me as she cries a little while the tears fall down my cheeks.

I run into the road before anymore cars come and pull Nathan onto the path and kneel beside him and stroke his face.

"N... Nathan." I whisper trying to wake him up but he won't wake up.

"Nathan!" I say louder shaking him.

"Sophie, talk to the ambulance lady for me." I say as she nods and takes my phone.

I hear her speaking to her.

"Hello neenaa lady. My daddy been runned over by a vroom vroom and I'm scared like Mommy. We scared together. Please hurry daddy needs you and now mommy will talk, I don't know where we are." She says cutely as I tell the paramedic what she means before telling her where we are and she comes.

She takes Nathan in the ambulance with me and Sophie as Sophie falls asleep on my knee as I hold her close, resting her head on my shoulder.

We get to the hospital and Sophie and I have to wait in the waiting area before we get called out to see him.

We get to Nathan's room and see him attached to lots of wires with and oxygen mask on.

As soon as I see him I break down into tears before I feel someone's arms round me and turn to see Jay hugging me with Taia beside him, an evil smirk plastered on her face.

I glare at her before hugging Jay back and kissing his cheek loads of times as he kisses my cheek loads of times too making Taia jealous even though she is using Jay and she doesn't really love him.

I entwine my fingers with Jay's and he smiles at me before being pulled away by Taia.

I sigh and sit beside Nathan's bed and hold his hand entwining our fingers together after moving my chair closer to the bed with Sophie sleeping on me.

I keep kissing his hand as he sleeps peacefully while I sigh.

What am I gonna do without him?

Especially Sophie?

She loves him to pieces and will be devastated.

What would I do then?

<2 weeks later>

I feel Nathan's fingers starting moving inbetween mine before feeling his fingers grip with mine.

He looks at me and I smile at him before he removes his hand and starts looking really scared as the nurse changes to oxygen pipes.

"Who the hell are you?" He says.

"Nathan, it's me. I... I'm your fiance, this is Sophie your daughter, and this is Jay and his girlfriend Taia." I say as she shakes her head.

"She's lying Nathan. That is Jay's daughter Sophie. Her and Jay are married. I am your fiance." Taia says kissing Nathan as Jay starts to tear up like me.

I can't believe Nathan is believing her.

I let the tears fall while Jay leaves the room.

Taia stops kissing Nathan and while he's not looking she smirks at me evilly before leaving the room.

"She can't be my girlfriend." Nathan says as I wipe my tears away.

"She's not Nath. You have to believe me. I'm your fiance, we're engaged, this is your daughter Sophie and I had brain damage like you do now. Nathan please, You have to remember."

"I remember my actual girlfriends kiss. Not hers. Kiss me, just so I can make sure. P... Please." He says as I nod and kiss him softly as he kisses me back.

He pulls away and smiles at me.

"Your kiss is the same as my girlfriend's but I guess I can't remember right now."

Just then Taia walks in.

"Nathan, you're coming home today and your gonna fuck me hard and fuck me good." Taia says as Nathan shakes his head.

"I'm going home with Scarlet." He says.

"You remembered my name?" I ask as he nods.

"Yes, I did." He says as I smile and hug him as he hugs me back.

He remembered my name.

"Nathan, you either go home with me or I rape you?" Taia says more like a question.

"Fuck you Taia you bitch." Nathan then says as Taia looks suprised before she climbs onto him and Jay takes me out of the room with Sophie.

"You don't wanna be in there."
