Chapter 11

Nathan's pov.

I wake up still in the hospital bed before turning to see Scarlet and Sophie sleeping peacefully and smile slightly.

I love them so much, I can't describe it.

I hear the door open before Jay, Kelsey, Siva, Nareesha, Max, Sophie, Chelsea, Catherine, Nina, Jazmine, Jessie and Alysia all walk in.

I look at them and smile before putting a finger to my lips and pointing at Scarlet and Sophie.

They nod and sit on the other side some on chairs and the rest on the floor.

"We're glad you're better Nathan. When are you being discharged?" Kelsey says as I shrug.

"I dunno. They haven't told me yet. I don't know when I'm being discharged or if I have to have any more scans or check ups." I say truthfully before I feel a tiny hand take my hand and look up at me hopefully with bright green eyes as I smile at her and lift her up onto my lap.

Her small arms wrap around my neck before she nuzzles her face in my neck as Scarlet sleeps peacfully.

"Daddy, when you were runned over by a vroom vroom I talked to the Neenaa Lady." Sophie says to me quietly as everyone 'awh's' at her.

I smile and kiss her head.

"Did mommy tell you to talk to her?" I reply as she nods a little and hugs me tighter.

"I thought you were deaded. I waz crying becaz I love you Daddy." She says as I kiss her head and hug her back.

"I love you too Princess, I love you too." I say as she giggles a little and yawns before I hear her small, quiet breaths before looking at her and seeing that she's asleep before laying her under the covers beside me after I moved up, so she would fit there.

There wasn't much space but she still slept there silently as I smiled at her and stroke my finger down her face softly.

"Nath?" I hear Scarlet ask after yawning.

"Mmm?" I reply as she looks at me then at Sophie.

"Is she okay?" She asks as I nod.

"Yeah, she's fine. She just talked to me before falling asleep." I say as she nods and moves her chair closer to the bed as we both talk to all the others and we start up this massive discussion about fish.

Weird, I know, Right?

After all the others leave I turn to Scarlet and just talk to her until the nurse walks in.

"Mr. Sykes, If you wish to, You may go home now." The nurse says as I nod.

I arrive home carrying a sleeping Sophie and carry her upto her room before putting her into her pyjamas gently and laying her down under her covers on her bed as she moans a little before cuddling her teddy bear as I put it in her arms.

I smile at her before placing a soft kiss on her forehead and turn around to see Scarlet watching and smiling at me.

I smile back and walk out of Sophie's room and shut the door before Scarlet wraps her arms round my neck and smiles.

"You're a fantastic dad." She says as I smile and kiss her softly as she kisses me back.

"Thank you. You're a fantastic, Beautiful, Caring, Kind, Loving and Amazing at Sex Mom." I say laughing a little.

"Hey!" She exclaims as she hits my arm playfully.

"Okay, You're a Fantastic, Beautiful, Caring,  Kind and Loving Mom." I say as she kisses me and smiles.

"The amazing at sex bit is so not appropriate." She giggles as I kiss her and walk her backwards into our room before closing the door with my foot...

I pull Scarlet closer to me as she smiles and turns to face me.

"I missed you over these past few months. I wasn't eating. Sophie was, I wasn't." She says as I frown at her.

"Scarlet, you know I wouldn't want you to do that. You know I would've excpected you to eat." I say a little dissapointed that she would actually starve herself for me, "I don't want you starving yourself baby." I say as she sighs.

"Nathan, I did it because I love you. I don't like seeing you like that. It's hard enough hearing that you're in that sort of condition for two months." She says stroking her finger down my cheek as I close my eyes.

I hold her wrist and kiss the palm of her hand while looking up at her through my eyelashes while she smiles a little.

"This means that I'll never leave you. Ever. I love you too much." I say as I entwine my fingers with her as she cuddles close to me, "I'll love you for forever and more. Not even Taia or anyone can change that. You mean the whole world to me. You and Sophie mean more than all of the Galaxies, Universes and Worlds put together to me and I thought that was impossible. I love you both that much too. I even thought that was impossible but I guess it isn't." I say as Scarlet smiles at me.

"Nathan, I feel exactly the same way. I love you too." She says as I smile at her and kiss her before we fall into a calm and peaceful sleep.
