Chapter 14

"I'm pregnant."

He stares at me and blinks a couple of times not saying anything.

"Y-you're pregnant?"He asks as I nod before he lays his back on the bed and covers his face with his hands before sitting up and looking at me.

"I..." He trails off before a few tears fall.

"Why are you crying?" I ask as he hugs me and I hug him back.

"I'm just so happy." He says as I smile and kiss him.

"I'm glad you're happy Nath. I'm glad you didn't leave me again." I whisper the second sentence and look down.

"I promised you that I wouldn't hurt you because I love you." He says lifting my chin up, so I can look at him, with his forefinger and his thumb.

He presses his lips against mine softly before wrapping his arms round my waist and lifting me up slightly so I'm leaning on his chest a little as my arms go round his neck. My hands tangle in back of his hair as he places me back on the floor.

"Okay, you didn't quite get the reaction I wanted to give." He says as he tells me to tell him again.

"It was hard enough the first time." I say but agree.

"Nathan, I'm pregnant." I say.

"Really?!" He asks as I nod.

He picks me up while holding me and spins us a little.

"I love you scarlet." He says still holding me up.

"I love you too, Nathan." I say before kissing him softly as he sits me on his knee and cuddles me.

"How far along are you?" He asks as I smile.

"About 10-11 weeks." I reply as he smiles.

"When's the first scan for?"

"Monday." He nods.

I hear a small knock on the door.

"Mommy!" Sophie shouts through.

"When are we telling her?" I ask as Nathan shrugs.

"When you're a little further along?" He suggests.

I agree before opening the door and picking Sophie up.

"What's the matter baby?" I ask her and take her into the room while shutting the door before sitting her on my knee.

"Nothing.I just want to tell you that I love you." She says cutely as I smile and she hugs me as I hug her back before she hugs Nathan and tells him the same.

She goes back to her room before I lay down next to Nathan and cuddle him before he receives a text.

"It's Jay." Nathan says before going pale.

"What does it say?"

"Taia's pregnant." He says.

"They don't know the father."
