The truck stopped and parked. We all got off the wagon by twos or threes. I am slightly still short so Chuck who is pretty tall I guess or well taller than me, helped me down.

"Thank you." I said smiling and he grinned back at me.

I looked around to see multiple trees with apples. Most weren't just one color but mixed. But their were a few that were. People started walking up to trees and pulling apples off then. I didn't know if we could do that so I turned to Chuck to ask only to see him doing the same. Then I turned to the female farmer seeing she was also eating an apple.

I shrugged to myself and walked up to an apple tree. It was a red apple mixed with yellow, it kinda looked pink. It was unique to me. I pulled it off gently and looked for any bugs. Seeing none I bit into it.

Before I knew it, I had three apples. Chuck was laughing at me and I huffed. The female farmer eventually gave us bags to put apples in. I happily took it and Chuck was by my side recording as I picked apples.

The apples from the farm was not too sweet, bitter, or sour. Just right, now I feel like Goldilocks. But it wasn't too warm or cold. It was original and gave you a good feeling. It gave off a nature taste, this was not the normal apples that are processed. These apples was original, went from a seed to a plant of fresh fruit.

I bit into another apple. It looked slightly reddish but other than that, it looked like my first and second one. I chewed gently and I got that strange feeling. That feeling where you feel like someone is watching you. I looked around while chewing and pass the trees, I saw that one guy I screamed like a girl supposedly in front of.

I felt my cheeks heat up slightly at the memory. Eventually he met my gaze. I swallowed and felt heat rush to my cheeks. His eyes were so-

"What do you want freckle face?" he asked raising an eyebrow and immediately my face was burning as I heard some people next to him laugh.

I thought all my freckles had disappeared but I guess not. The worse is having pimples and freckles though, so I made sure to wash my face often. I felt my lip tremble then all of a sudden I was being pulled away from the guy. I turned my head slightly to see Chuck pulling me along.

Turns out we had to get back on the wagon. Just in time too, but I still couldn't stop thinking about my freckles. Why did I let him get to me. I barely even knew him yet he could get under my skin so easily.

I'd chuck an apple at a tree but that's just rude to the tree. Maybe chucking an apple at the guy would have made me feel better. Well it didn't matter now since I couldn't see him anymore. But I had a feeling it wouldn't be the last time we bumped into each other.

We were in a barn that was pretty big and well cleaned. It was filled with baby animals. Calfs, kids, and piglets. I smiled and couldn't help but to run like a kid towards the first one I saw, which was a light brown calf with a few white spots.

I had to wash my hands like everyone else then we got to pet the animals and feed them. I paid attention the calf first then made my way to a piglet, that I fell for. He was so adorable. It's little snorts as I pet it and fed it. He also was cute when he rolled in the mud....even though who knows what was in there. So I didn't touch him after he did that. Lastly, I headed to the brown kid. The gray kid tried eating my shirt when I came over to pet the other kid.

"N-No! Stop!" I squealed and tried tugging my shirt back which now that I think about it, that wasn't a good idea because the kid just pulled with it's teeth.

"Looks like your in a pickle." Chuck laughed walking by and I pouted as he went over to the horses.

I wanted Chuck to help but I guess he had helped me with one situation already. I huffed to myself and tugged my shirt hard only to stumble back and bump into someone. I turned around quickly about to apologize-

And we bumped into each other, again! But literally this time.

"Um...sorry." I mumbled after getting my balance back and he looked me up and down.

"A chunk of your shirt is missing." he said and I looked down wanting to cry, just a little bit.

"Sweet apples." I said sighing and he blinked at me making me gulp as my cheeks heated up. "Just uh...a saying I say."

"Uh huh.." he said nodding as he looked at me like I was crazy, which I wouldn't exactly blame him.

"So what's your name?" I asked and noticed he had started to walk away but then turned to look at me.

"What's it to ya?" he asked raising an eyebrow and I shrugged bashfully as I shoved my hands gently in my skinny jean pockets, which was painful. He stared at me for a while before closing his eyes and he smiled.

I felt the wind breeze past me as my heart sped up. He had a dimple, one dimple, on his right side. He opened his blue green eyes and they gazed into mine.

"Beck, don't forget it."

"Taylor." I said getting some confidence in me.

"Swift?"

And confidence gone. But I can bring it back.

"Ha ha, very funny." I said and he laughed before turning his back towards me.

His laugh made my heart skip. And I hated every moment of it. Even if our conversation was short and I hardly knew him, I held the event close to my heart. And I absolutely,

hated it.

"Sweet apples."
