I looked at myself in the mirror putting on a cap backwards. I had no idea what was the team's colors for Chad's team. I rubbed my own palms that felt slightly clammy. Ugh, why am I so nervous?
"Yeah! Why are you?" I jumped as I felt something or I guess I should say someone on my back.
"Sweet flipping apples Chuck." I grumbled turning my head to look at him as he grinned.
He was like a monkey on my back. I glared at him making him pout before getting down. He was taller than me and too heavy to be on my back.
"So where are you going this early?" Chuck asked flopping down on my bed then laid back.
"A baseball game." I said getting my I.D.
"Can I come?!" he asked sitting up quickly, making me roll my eyes.
"Sure." I sighed and he grinning bouncing up to hug me.
"Great! This'll be so fun!"
♡♡♡♡
"This is so laaaaame." Chuck groaned.
"SH!" lots of people said to him.
"Their just kids." I huffed at him and Chuck rolled his eyes.
"I thought we were going to see hot sweaty guys." he grumbled making me roll my eyes now.
"Is that all you care about?" I asked and he pouted. "I came here for a friend."
"Okay okaaaay, I get it." Chuck huffed standing up. "I'm gonna get me a hotdog." he said beginning to walk over people. I shook my head at him.
"I hope you mean the food!" I yelled.
"SH!" people said to me making me grumble before looking back at the game.
Their was lots of strikes on both side. Soon I felt myself drifting off. My eyes kept closing and wouldn't stay open. I didn't know I fell asleep until I jumped awake by yelling.
"HOMERUN!"
"Oh shut, I missed a homerun." I heard a familiar voice say making me look up to see Chuck with a hotdog and cup.
"What drink did you get?" I asked as he sat down.
"Coke, want some?" he asked before taking a bite of the hotdog and I shook my head glancing back at the game.
The game took about two hours. All I know is that I fell asleep again and people began packing up to leave. Chuck was shaking me awake.
"I'm awake I'm awake!" I huffed pushing his hands away.
"I can't believe you fell asleep. I called us a cab by the way." Chuck said rolling his eyes smirking.
"It was on accident and thanks." I said standing up and he did too shrugging as he made loud slurping noises as he drank probably the rest of his coke.
"Tay!" I heard a familiar voice yell and I turned to my left to see Chad with slight facial hair leaning against the wired gate.
I smiled waving at him. Chuck glanced over while slurping then began coughing. I blinked turning to look at Chuck who was literally choking on his drink. I pat his back hard and he began to pant hard then stood up straight quickly.
"That guy is hot!" Chuck said pointing at Chad and I glanced at Chad then back at Chuck then did it about three more times.
"Pft...hahahahaha!" I slapped my knee laughing so hard I felt some tears run down my face.
"What's so funny?" I heard a voice ask making me clear my throat wiping my face as Chuck rolled his eyes at me.
"My bad." I said turning to see Chad. "This is my friend Chuck by the way." I said gesturing to Chuck who winked at Chad.
"Nice to meet you too." Chad laughed then turned to me grinning. "Long time no see."
I ran down the benches carefully then hugged him. He hugged back and I caught Chuck watching us from the corner if my eye. He was giving me a look with a raised eyebrow. I shot him a glare before pulling back from the hug smiling at Chuck.
"Shame we didn't win." Chad sighed glancing at some kids that I assumed were the kids on his team in orange and white.
"Oh gee, darn." I said snapping my fingers, guess I know who won now. Chad shook his head laughing.
"So, friend?" Chad asked quietly glancing at Chuck and I rolled my eyes obviously knowing he was thinking something else.
"He's like the annoying brother I never had." I said and Chad laughed as Chas shot me glare this time.
"Well I'm obviously lovable." Chuck said hopping down to us then leaned on my back with his arm draped over my shoulder. "So Chad, ever thought of dating people my age?"
"And it's time to go." I said taking Chuck's arm dragging him off as Chad laughed waving us goodbye.
"I can't believe you ruined my shot." Chuck pouted as I dragged him to the taxi cab.
"What shot?" I said rolling my eyes as we got settled in the back and I put my seatbelt on.
"Rude." Chuck huffed laying back against the seat with his arms crossed making me sigh and put his seatbelt on for him.
"Such a child." I said shaking my head leaning against the door.
"Can't help that I'm a child in a college student's body, now about Halloween." I had a feeling Chuck was saying with a smirk, an evil one at that.
"If your planning on dragging me to a party again, sorry but I have family to see. I want to take Manny trick n treating." I said.
"Aww but Ta-"
"It's a family holiday in a way, I don't think I'll be staying for any holiday parties here. I'll be going to see my family everytime most likely."
"What about Beck?"
I turned to look at Chuck. He had a smudge look on his face. I looked away leaning against the door more.
"What about him? I haven't seen or heard from him for about three days." I said staring at the full moon hanging in the night sky.
"He could be at the party."
"Family comes first." I simply said with a shrug.
But I knew, that I wanted to go to the party now. And I'm sure Chuck knew he had me just where he wanted me. If I wanted to go even a little bit he could get me there somehow.
