⬆Look at chibi Manny XD awww
I was half asleep while trying to work on my homework. Chuck was out, like usual. Today was Friday so I had two days of a break if I could get all my work done tonight. Usually I had tests or had more work to do on the weekends. For once I wanted to do something else this weekend. Not like I like to do work. But it's what I had to do.
My phone buzzed and I picked it up. I assumed it was my parents and answered right away.
"Hellooo." I said spinning in my computer chair gently.
"Hey Tay." I heard a familiar voice say and I sat up.
"Chad?" I asked bewildered.
"One and only." I heard him laugh.
"The last time we've seen each other and talked was like-"
"Your graduation, I know." he finished laughing.
"Good to hear from you." I said grinning as I spinned in my chair, getting slightly dizzy.
"Sorry it's been a while, coaching baseball to middle schoolers takes up my time." he sighed but I had a feeling he was smiling.
"What about the elementary kids." I asked stopping the chair from spinning again with both my feet.
"I'll start with them next year."
"Have any games coming up?" I asked checking my calendar, yes, I did have a schedule planned almost everyday.
"Yeah, why? Planning on coming?" I bet he was smirking while saying that so I rolled my eyes smiling.
"I'd try to come." I said spinning again in the chair as the door slightly slammed open.
I glanced over to see Chuck stumbling around. He fell over on my bed snoring instantly. I shook my head, couldn't tell if he was drunk or just sleepy.
"Sounds good, October 26th good for you?" he asked and I realized it was October already. Two months at this university passed fast.
"Sure, so in ten more days is the game." I mumbled to myself as I put it on my calender.
"Correct, well talk to you later I guess."
"Okay, byeee." I said spinning and heard him chuckle before he hung up.
"Who was that?"
I jumped while slightly spinning in the chair and fell out of it. I groaned and glared up at Chuck who rest against his fist smirking.
"A guy."
"A hot guy?"
I glared and rolled my eyes getting up. I pulled myself up onto my own bed with him.
"He's just a friend."
"He says he's just a friend." he sung and I glared more.
"He is, just a friend." I laughed now. "Plus he's like the age of my older brother and his husband."
"Which is?"
"Like in their middle twenties."
"Hot."
"....Don't call my brother and his husband hot." I scrunched up my nose and he laughed. "I already have to hear them both call each other that. Plus my brother would kick your as-butt if he heard you call his husband that." I said and he grinned.
"I'm talking about the age. Older man plus a younger guy, is hot."
"Your disgusting." I stuck my tongue out with my nose scrunched up still as he only laughed.
"Okay okay, so....you like that one guy at the field trip?" I felt my face heat up and he smirked. "So that's a yes."
"No!"
"Sounds like a yes to me." he smirked more as I groaned burying my face in a pillow.
"Sweet apples." I mumbled.
"It's okay to have crushes. It's not like high school, so you might not see him much. Or get to talk to him or even get his phone number."
Each thing he said brought my shoulders lower and lower until they were slumped. "Gee, thanks for letting me know." I said throwing the pillow his way and he fell over dramatically.
I couldn't help but laugh at him. He grinned sitting up with my pillow. I hugged my other pillow which was pink.
"The last time I saw him was at our field trip." I said resting my chin on my pillow.
"September....25th?" he recalled the date we went and I nodded.
"And now it's the sixteenth of October, already." I said and he nodded.
"Welp;" he said putting my pillow down and laid down. "Looks like you won't be seeing him again anytime soon." he said grinning over at me and I glared.
"Do you mind not crushing my feelings?" I asked and he laughed.
"Feelings are overrated when it comes to that particular subject."
I pouted now putting my pillow down. "Why do you say that? Even though I kinda like agree." I said and he laughed then sighed as he stared up at the ceiling.
"I just really never liked anyone. Like, like like." he said and I blinked. "I mean like I say famous people are sexy and hot, including strangers all the time. But there's no one I've actually been serious about." he said shrugging and I nodded.
"You know...you said 'like' a lot." I said and he laughed.
"Of course you would catch that." he said sitting up. "Anyways, got any plans tomorrow?"
"This is probably not a surprise, but no." I said and he grinned.
"I'm gonna help you loosen up a bit. College isn't just about school, but to get out, find yourself, be yourself, and have some fun." he said standing up on my bed making me quirk an eyebrow.
"One, don't stand on my bed with your shoes on. Two, half of that I guess is true but school you must be serious about." I said and he pouted getting down then took his shoes off.
"Party pooper."
"I do not poop at parties, the only parties I've gone to is family gathering ones. And I don't feel comfortable doing that on other people's toliets." I said and he rolled his eyes smiling then waved his hand.
"I gotta get you out. Maybe you'll meet a hot guy.... maybe I'll meet a hot guy. Oh! We could go on double dates!"
"Absolutely not."
"Why not?"
"I can imagine me trying to eat with my date while your making out with your boyfriend all in our faces."
"Woah....I would so do that."
"Sweet apples." I said holding my head as he laughed.
"So...tomorrow, out?"
"Fine."
