College had started again and a few of my classes have changed. I wasn't sure if they changed for the best or for the worse. Not only was Chuck almost in all my classes again but so was Beck. Two bad and good combinations since they both can either distract me or motivate me. And I'm pretty sure both would be doing the opposite for the most part. But Izze was in one of my classes again which was better than not having any classes with her. This semester I had Shakespeare, Statistics, Chemistry, Civics, Pastry and Baking Arts.
"Come on Tay! We can't be late!" Chuck said between strokes behind his toothbrush.
I came out of the shower drying my hair with a towel. Glancing around I looked for a stall to go in. Grabbing my bag of clothes I went into an empty stall changing. Coming out Chuck was standing in front of the stall with his hand on one hip while the other was holding onto his bag.
"I'm readddyyy." I rolled my eyes huffing as I grabbed my bag.
"Yeah yeah." he grabbed my arm and we walked out of the room together.
"I can't believe school started again." I groaned and he laughed.
"I think most of us feel that way, Tay. Anyway do you know what you want to be yet?" he asked as we walked out of the dorm building making our way to the other building for class.
"Um well not exactly but I have some ideas. How about you?" I asked thinking to myself about what I could be.
"A chef so I'm going to do their chef program I think that is around two years or three but I'll have to do summer school probably and add more classes but that's okay," he said waving all that off like it was no problem.
"Oh, a chef? And they have that program?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows.
"Yeah, you don't know the programs they have? I did most of my core requirements, finishing this semester since I took college classes beforehand already. Izze did the same too since we went to the same school." he explained.
"Ugh well, I will do some research about the programs they have," I muttered as he laughed.
"We can just ask Izze about it she knows all about it by heart I bet and if not the office has a packet or something on it," he said opening the for me and I smiled nodding as I walked inside.
My heart kind of stopped when I noticed a certain someone in the room. I cleared my throat moving forward but kept glancing at Beck. He was too busy talking to some guy that was taller than him and also had facial hair that was very visible with blondish brown wavy hair. I guess I was too focused on him instead of walking because I eventually tripped over a chair that was slightly pulled out. I groaned as I hit the ground hard.
"Tay!!!" I heard Chuck yell then footsteps come fast and near me.
"Are you okay Swift?" I heard Beck as I roll over on my back to look up.
"Woah dude you took had a hard fall." the guy Beck was talking to said as they all stood above me.
"Ye-Yeah." I blinked to see better as my head felt like it was being beaten with a hammer over and over again.
Chuck and Beck helped me up while the guy pushed the chair in. The guy also picked up my bag I didn't know I dropped. I hope my phone and laptop was okay or it was all over for me. He handed me my bag and I thanked them all with my face burning from embarrassment and literally from the pain.
"Good thing the professor wasn't in here." the guy said as we all took our seats, who I later found out from Beck was Glyn.
"Why you say that?" Chuck asked the question I wanted to ask as well.
"Let's just say he would say 'scene'! And we all would have to clap as your laying on the ground in pain before we could help you up." Glyn laughed and Beck snorted.
"I think you have bad luck when it comes to first days of school," Beck said now looking at me smirking and I huffed as warmth came to my face again.
I remember the first time Beck and I met. It was after I stepped in dog manure- child-friendly, unlike last time! Anyway, that was so embarrassing but I'm so glad I wasn't bothered about it later on. I guess because everybody forgot thankfully.
"Maybe," I grumbled turning away from him.
"What happened last time?" I heard Chuck ask as other students filed in and eventually the professor.
More students came in as the professor prepared to start class I guess. While that was going on Beck was telling Chuck what happened. I huffed as Chuck laughed and nudged me making jokes. I rolled my eyes and ignored him as the class actually started with only a few students arriving late. The professor stood in front of the room and began an introduction. This was the first time the professor actually took the time to tell us who he was and directly how this class would kind of be like. It was nice because I believe he would be a professor I definitely would remember.
"I'm Mr.Vandenhoff and this might be a class full of Shakespeare but we will hit other play writers as well. Always take notes please, either record me, type or write them. If I see you with your phone out whatever you were doing possibly will be my next piece of work." he lectured us and the last part made me make sure I didn't have my phone out just in case. "Now for today I want you to write on a piece of paper and tell me your name then a play you know of," he gave us our first task.
There was a bit over thirty in this class but I guess not too much. I know we weren't the only class he also taught drama. He would probably not remember all our names or any of us unless we caught his attention. And I did by knocking over the piles of paper when I had to put mine in the pile.
XD sweet apples am I right? Anyway, I wrote this yesterday and I was going to update it then but I knew I most likely wouldn't be able to write another update for this book or another. But maybe I'm wrong. Well I hope you all have a nice day/night.
