My first year of college passed on quickly. I had classes during the summer with Chuck and Izze. Izze mostly was the one to keep us motivated and focused. Beck didn't join us for summer school but we still talked and saw each other frequently. I finished as many classes as I could that summer with this new program. So pretty much if you think you know and understand a class enough or classes you can take a test and if you pass then you pass the class. I did this with Izze who helped me a lot. Chuck decided not to do things that way. He didn't join us in the new program.
The second year of college I was doing mostly classes for my career with Izze, unlike Chuck and Beck. During that year it seemed Chuck had matured more and stopped going out so much. He started studying more and stopped flirting. The last part was probably because he was in a serious committed relationship with Glyn. During the summer after that year, Beck joined the program with Izze and me including Chuck. The third year we all were finishing up what we needed for our degrees to eventually get a job.
Vandenhoff found me a job which was at a nice cafe where I would make a fairly good amount of money. Izze, Chuck, and I might have gone our separate ways career-wise but we still were there for each other. Izze would be an art designer for some cartoons that got very popular and Chuck would be a co-owner of a restaurant with a relative still in a relationship with Glyn. And I would have my own cafe with Beck's help on the financial piece for the most part also be engaged with Beck.
Life goes on. People come and people go. Time keeps going as the population keeps growing. New creations are made while others are destroyed. The leaves were changing once again. Those red maple leaves had fallen and were replaced with other leaves that are now green. Spring is here. I've learned to love in all kinds of ways. And my love with Beck created another human being, a child. Our first child.
So I guess you could say it started with an apple then turned to love. Apple Love, that's what we call it. If I didn't see him again on that trip who knows where we would be. But as I say I'm sure we would still meet somehow.
"Be careful love, your seven months in. Your water could break early."
I stopped standing on my toes to hang clothes up to air dry. Huffing I turned around to see Beck leaning in the doorway smirking.
"I will be fine." I pouted making him chuck as he pushed himself off the doorway.
That chuckle still made my heart race. He walked over helping me fold, put clothes up, or pin clothes up to dry. I began to think and turned to my husband.
"Do you think our child will like apples?" I asked making him chuckle again then wrap his arms around me as I pouted more my face feeling a little hot.
"I bet he'll love them," he said kissing my nose and I smiled as warmth reached my cheeks more.
"But what if he doesn't?" I asked pouting again as he rolled his eyes smiling.
"Well, then he doesn't," he says kissing my cheek making my face grow hotter but my pout didn't leave.
"But I want him to love apples." I huffed.
"We can't force him to." he shook his head smiling and laced our fingers.
"Gaah, okay." I finally gave up with another huff.

~Nine months later~
"Eat up." I heard Beck say in the next room making me smile as I finished putting on my clothes after my shower.
"Ucky!" I heard our baby yell then a bang.
I quickly ran into the kitchen almost slipping a bit and saw an orange plastic baby plate on the ground. I glanced up to see our baby who was giggling so I walked more into the kitchen. Immediately I saw Beck who had his face covered in baby food. I snorted then covered my mouth before I burst into a fit of giggles myself. Beck turned his head towards my direction slowly before turning it a but away spitting some baby food out slightly. His face, hair, and his shirt was a mess.
"I guess the baby doesn't like apples," he muttered blowing out some more baby food from his nose.
I laughed making a face as our baby clapped his hands giggling more. Beck grumbled and stood up taking his shirt off. My face got really hot as I blocked his chest from our baby. Beck wiped off the baby food on his face with the clean sides of his face groaning.
"You feed the baby something else I guess, I'm gonna take a shower," he said and I nodded trying to not laugh as he walked off.
"Ugh, Kyler." I pouted turning to our baby who just sucked his fist. "You're supposed to like apples." I huffed but he only giggled making me sigh but eventually I smiled shaking my head. "Sweet apples, guess I better clean this up and get you something to eat huh?" I ask getting gurgling noises in response from him.
After cleaning up the mess I looked for some more baby food. I pulled out three and walked over to Kyler. Showing the baby the first three I saw he gurgled reaching out for the pear one. I huffed and sat that one on the table. I put the other two up then got a new baby plate. Putting the baby food on the plate and getting a baby spoon I started feeding the baby. He ate it up happily clapping his hands as some food dripped down his chubby cheeks. I cooed at him smiling and cleaned it up with his bib.
"My sweet little boy." I smiled as he clapped again gurgling.
