Shining's POV: I walk calmly through a sunny grassland where the Pokémon Queen herself can be found until Pichu sees something and decides to chase after it. I chase after her with my other Pokémon in tow until I catch Pichu, completely unaware of the unstable ground below me, and when I realize the ground below me is unstable, it's too late to do anything, and I start falling with Pichu in my arms, then everything goes black. I hear my Lupora hatching Blacky growling in concern and alarm then feel her licking my face with her wet pink tongue alongside my Aurora Borealis Ryori hatchling Navasai and Zolnixi hatchling Sunset, but to no avail
*time skip*
Shining's POV: ugh...my head is killing me. I wake up to the steady beeping of a hospital heart monitor and look around, completely unaware of my surroundings. Later, I notice a small brown fennec fox like creature jump up onto the bed with an "Eevee," its name tag glinting in the light. I say, "hey there little buddy, what are you doing here?" It shows off its name tag and I read it in my head. Sakura. The Eevee name trick in Pokémon Go to get an Espeon. I ask it-no, her, "who's your trainer?" She lets out an "Eevee" and puts her right front paw on..."me?!" I think I remember what my name is, I think it's Shining Eclipse Star. I ask Sakura, "is my name...Shining Eclipse Star?" She nods and the rest of my team minus Latias jumps up. I ask the Pokémon, "you're all my Pokémon?" They nod vaguely and later, I'm discharged from the hospital and given the Luxury Balls attached to my belt before I was put in the hospital. I find a female horse with a black coat and a long deep red mane and tail and brown eyes waiting outside for me. I slowly get up on her back then put Sakura and the rest of my small four or two-legged Pokémon on her back then pick up Blacky and Navasai and sit them on Nightmare's back in between my legs, Latias in her Luxury Ball. Eventually, I find myself in the town of Jasper, Nevada, and encounter a team of military soldiers ready to fire. I command, "Pichu, Thunderbolt! Aim for the batteries and try to overload them!" Pichu does as told and overloads all but one of the soldiers' planes. The remaining one lands and says as I dismount Nightmare and he gets out of his plane, "kid, you got guts. Come with me." I remount Nightmare and follow him as he takes off in his plane and snap Nightmare's reins to get her going. Eventually I find myself about to run Nightmare into a rock wall, but much to my surprise, the wall opens up and allows me to enter with Nightmare. Nightmare slows to a trot and I look around at the different robots and four other humans in the abandoned missile silo. I ask as Nightmare trots up to a silver, red, and blue robot, "who are you, and what is this place?" He replies, "we are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron, also known as Autobots. And you are in our base, also known as Autobot Outpost Omega One. I am Optimus Prime, I will be your guardian." I say unsurely as I get ready to turn Nightmare around, "okay...but for now, do you mind it if I stay here till I can get a place to stay? By the way, name's Shining Eclipse Star. Just call me Shining." He responds, "I will allow it seeing as you have no place to stay, Shining." I pull Nightmare's reins and she turns around and trots up onto a platform, where I dismount her with my Pokémon and flop down on the couch with them, Sakura curling up in my lap. I take out my phone and unlock it then go to the gallery and look at the first picture in the camera folder of the gallery. That galactic-haired pigtails girl standing next to me...she looks familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it. I decide to play Pokémon Duel and after a few battles, I shut my phone down and put it back in my storage pouch.
*a few months later*
Shining's POV: I sigh softly as I look at my reflection in the mirror, my bangs and hair messy with purple streaks then apply my grey eyeshadow and look at my pale blue and tea green eyes, sighing softly once again. I let out my Pokémon, who are used to seeing me like this, and Koneko flies up and snuggles into my chest. Blacky, who's now an adolescent and has the Jeweled Horns mutation, rubs against my leg while whining in concern. I say softly to her as I scratch her head between her ears, being mindful of her recently polished Jeweled Horns, "I know, girl, I know..." Navasai, who's also an adolescent and has the Ethereal Armor, Ethereal Ribbons, and Ethereal Headdress mutations, rubs against my legs and snuggles up close, her Ethereal Ribbons fluttering as she does so. The Shock Runes, Kitsune, and Leaf Veins on her legs and head bend each time she walks around or looks up at someone like they always do while she rubs against my legs. Sunset runs up growling in concern and rubs against my right leg as her ears and tri tails droop worriedly.
