sickness and finding(and catching after gaining trust) Suicune

Shining's POV: I wake up feeling weak and struggle to get up, eventually waking Koneko, who says over our telepathic bond as she uses Psychic to lift me off the bed, "maybe a hot shower will help." I nod and she levitates off the bed, bringing me with her, waking Shimmer in the process, and she asks over the telepathic bond I share with my Pokémon, "what's--*yawn*--going on?" I respond, "I'm just gonna take a hot shower, Shimmer. I'll be out in a bit." Koneko puts me down and I get my midnight purple dress with gold trim plus the matching heeled boots and then walk calmly into the bathroom, turning on the water after I put the outfit I'm gonna change into after the shower on the counter with Koneko ready to use Light Screen to protect my clothes. I shut the door quietly so as to not wake Onyx and undress then step into the shower, letting the hot water run over my skin, but instead of helping like it normally should, it only makes things worse, so I get Koneko to turn off the water using Psychic and she lifts me out of the shower, drying me off and changing me into my dress and high heels then brushing my bangs and hair free of tangles just as I sneeze, causing her to say, "bless you, mistress." I say, "arigatō, Koneko. I'm gonna call Nebula over, maybe she'll know what's wrong with me. For now, though, I'm just gonna lay down." She nods and opens the door with Psychic and I walk out then lay down on my bed, Koneko grabbing my phone with Psychic and placing it in my hand. I pet her in between her ears as she lays on my stomach and scroll through my contacts list, tapping on Nebula's contact and tap call, then put my phone to my ear, holding it in place with my shoulder. Nebula picks up and asks, "hello?" I say, "Nebula," I cut myself off as I move my phone and sneeze, then put my phone back to my ear and hold it in place with my shoulder and continue, "could you possibly...come over? I'm not feeling well and I don't know what's wrong. Koneko and Shimmer are with me, just so you know. Oh, and Onyx is still asleep." Nebula replies, "I'll be over in a bit. Just stay in bed until I get there." I say, "will do." We hang up and I put my phone back on my nightstand after shutting it down as Koneko and Shimmer curl up next to me. Sakura and Sylvia bang on the inside of their Luxury Balls with a paw, requesting to be let out, and so, Koneko picks up her teammates' Luxury Balls with Psychic and deposits them in my hand. I press the capsules on Sakura and Sylvia's Luxury Balls and throw them in the air while saying, "alright, Sakura and Sylvia, you can come out." Their Luxury Balls burst open and the familiar blue light shoots out and deposits Sakura and Sylvia on my bed. Sylvia uses her mouth to catch her Luxury Ball and shuts it with her paw as I let out the rest of my Pokémon since four of them are already out. Koneko catches Sakura's Luxury Ball with Psychic and Sakura shuts it with her paw. Blacky, who got a flea bath last night to kill any fleas in her fur, climbs on the bed with us and lays down while whimpering with her golden brownish ears laid back, her red eyes holding concern.
Nebula's POV: I get out of bed and pick up my medical kit, set it on my bed, put my armor on, brush my bangs and hair free of tangles, pull my hair up into pigtails like I do every morning after I get out of bed, pick up my medical kit, and quietly head out of the room so as to not wake Nova and head to Shining's house. I politely knock on the door, but hiss softly in pain from my broken fang(Nova kinda went berserk when I accidentally woke her yesterday morning when I headed over to Shining's house, and she kinda punched one of my fangs and broke it, drawing blood from the vessels in it.) Then her majesty Queen Lunaria opens the door, her Typhlosion beside her, and asks in surprise, "Nebula? Why are you here? Shining doesn't have a checkup today, neither do Onyx and Mangle." I respond, "Shining called me over, she told me she's not feeling well, so I came over." She nods and steps aside, granting me access to the house. I walk inside as she shuts the door and head upstairs to Shining and Onyx's room, quietly walking into the room so as to not wake Onyx, then quietly walk over to Shining's bed, where she and her Pokémon are laying, minus Latias because she's too big to be on the bed. Shining looks up when she hears me hiss softly in pain from my broken fang and asks, "Nebula? *sneeze* Are you okay?" I nod and say, "yes, Shining, I'm fine, and bless you. Nova just broke one of my fangs yesterday when I accidentally woke her up. I'm just gonna have to let the missing portion grow back." Shining says, "I could probably fix it with a spell on one of the pages of my book of ancient spells and prophecies." She zaps the book hanging from the ceiling with a spell and opens the book as she sits up with assistance from her Pokémon then reads the spell, her healing crystal bird pendant illuminating as she does so, and a beam of magic shoots out from her star pendant and draws magic into the form of the missing portion of my broken fang and the blood vessels within it, the new portion and blood vessels within it quickly becoming real. I smile at her and say, "thanks." She says as she lays back down, "no problem, I just wanted to help." I place my medical kit on her nightstand and take out my stethoscope, quickly equipping it and use the end piece to listen to her heartbeat, recording the BPM and then Koneko and Blazing Beauty help her to turn over so she's laying flat on her stomach and I check her breathing rhythm, noticing it's picked up a little wheeze, record the results, then put my stethoscope back around my neck and check her temperature after Blacky, Navasai, Sunset, Koneko, Blazing Beauty, Sakura, Sylvia, Allia, and Shimmer help her turn back over so she's laying flat on her back, noticing that she's running a fever, quickly recording the results. I soon realize Shining has caught the flu and head downstairs to inform Mr and Mrs. Star. I say as they sit down on the couch with their Pokémon, Infernape and Typhlosion, standing beside them, King Sombra, Queen Lunaria, I have bad news. Your daughter has caught the flu due to not being vaccinated."
*a few days later*
Lunaria's POV: I eat breakfast with my husband and our son along with our Pokémon, my female Typhlosion, my husband's male Infernape, Onyx's male Charmander which he named Blaze, Umbreon which he named Blackout, Latios, his female Vulpix he named Cinder, Machop, and Rowlet, and Mangle and her Eevee which she named Polly when I hear heels clicking against the stairs and look up to see Shining with Blazing Beauty in her arms, Sakura and Sylvia on her shoulders, and Icy, Pichu, Latias, Koneko, Aqua, Flora, Luna, Snowdrop, Phoenix, Shimmer, Champ, Allia, Blacky, Navasai, and Sunset following her. I ask as she sits down at the table, "honey, what are you doing out of bed? You're sick!" She says, "not anymore, Mom. I feel fine now." I smile and get up then fix some Pokémon food for Blazing Beauty, Sakura, Sylvia, Icy, Pichu, Latias, Koneko, Aqua, Flora, Luna, Snowdrop, Phoenix, Shimmer, Allia, and Champ, then set the Pokémon food on the floor and fix some food for Shining alongside some food for Blacky, Navasai, and Sunset. After we eat breakfast, Shining, Onyx, and Mangle lay on their stomachs on the rug in the living room and play with their Pokémon just as Blazing Beauty, Blaze, Polly, Sakura, Sylvia, Pichu, Aqua, Flora, Luna, Snowdrop, Flame, Shimmer, Allia, Champ, and Machop start evolving. Blazing Beauty evolves into a Braixen, Blaze evolves into a Charmeleon, Polly evolves into Sylveon, Sakura evolves into Espeon, Sylvia evolves into Sylveon, Pichu evolves into Pikachu, Aqua gets a water stone out of Shining's bag and touches it, causing her to evolve into Vaporeon, Flora takes a piece of a Moss Rock out of Shining's bag and touches it, causing her to evolve into Leafeon, Snowdrop evolves into Kirlia, Phoenix evolves into Rapidash, Shimmer evolves into Brionne, Champ evolves into Machoke, Shining gives Allia a shiny stone, which the aforementioned Minccino puts her paws on, causing her to evolve into Cinccino, Machop evolves into Machoke, and Rowlet evolves into Dartrix. Onyx gives Cinder a Fire Stone and evolves her into Ninetales. They stare at their Pokémon in shock and gasp. My phone starts ringing and I tap answer then ask as I walk outside and place my phone to my ear and hold it in place with my shoulder, "hello?" Nebula says, "Queen Lunaria, good morning. How's Shining?" I respond, "oh, she's feeling much better today, and Blazing Beauty, her Fennekin, her first Eevee, Sakura, her second Eevee, Sylvia, her Pichu, Aqua, her fourth Eevee, Flora, her fifth Eevee, her Ralts, Snowdrop, her Ponyta, Phoenix, her Popplio, Shimmer, her Machop, Champ, her Minccino, Allia, Onyx's Charmander, Blaze, his Vulpix, Cinder, his Rowlet, and Mangle's Eevee, Polly, evolved just a few minutes ago when Shining, Onyx, and Mangle laid down on the floor to play with their Pokémon." She replies, "oh, good. I'm glad to hear that. I'll be over to vaccinate her in a bit."
Shining's POV: I giggle as I pet Blazing Beauty in between her ears as she sits down on my bed with me but I get up and say when I hear someone knocking on the door, "come on, Blazing Beauty." Blazing Beauty says as she stands up and walks to my side, "Braixen!" We walk downstairs as Blazing Beauty takes her branch out of her tail and uses friction to ignite it in case of an intruder when I say, "Blazing Beauty, Flamethrower." I cautiously crack the door just enough to see outside and see that it's just Nebula and say to my starter as I turn to her, "false alarm, Blazing Beauty. It's just Nebula." Blazing Beauty allows her branch to go out and puts it back in her tail, where she keeps it when she's not using it, and I ask as I open the door all the way, "Nebula? What are you doing here?" Blazing Beauty says as she walks to my side again, "Braixen-Brai!" Nebula says as she walks inside, "I'm just here to give you, Onyx, and Mangle a flu vaccine so you don't get the flu again." I nod and walk over to the couch with Blazing Beauty and sit down, Blazing Beauty doing the same, as I text Onyx and tell him to come downstairs so Nebula can give him a flu vaccine. Blazing Beauty sits on the right side of the couch seeing as I'm sitting on the left side of the couch and lays her tail with her branch stashed in it by her black furred leg Nebula takes a needle and syringe filled with a flu vaccine out of a horizontal loop on her belt then gently pulls the top of my sleeve down with her left hand, Blazing Beauty getting up and walking over to my side then holding my sleeve in place for Nebula, and Nebula gently guides the needle into my upper arm near my shoulder, then presses the plunger, injecting the vaccine into the vein, and removes the needle. Blazing Beauty releases my sleeve and it snaps back up then Onyx comes downstairs with Blaze following him. He's currently wearing off-both-shoulders elbow-length sleeves, like I am, so when he sits down on the couch after I get up, Blaze carefully pulls down the top of his sleeve so as to not scratch Onyx with his sharp claws by mistake and Nebula takes another needle and syringe out of another horizontal loop on her belt and gently guides the needle into his upper arm near his shoulder then presses the plunger, injecting the vaccine into the vein, and removes the needle then Blaze releases his sleeve and it snaps back up. Mangle comes downstairs with Polly walking beside her with one of her ribbon-like feelers wrapped around her arm and sits down after Onyx gets up and Polly jumps onto the armrest then grabs Mangle's sleeve with her ribbon-like feelers and pulls it down. Nebula takes a third needle and syringe out of a third horizontal loop on her belt then gently guides the needle into Mangle's arm then presses the plunger and removes the needle then Polly releases Mangle's sleeve. We hug Nebula as Blazing Beauty, Sakura, Sylvia, Blaze, Blackout, and Polly join the hug, and she hugs us back with a smile. Koneko comes over and joins the hug as she snuggles in between Blazing Beauty and I and Nebula says in a friendly tone as she pets my second Psychic-type in between her ears, "hey, Koneko, good to see you!" Champ and Machoke come over and happily join the hug. Soon, we part the hug and I head outside but freeze in my tracks when I hear a feminine groan, and look around only to find nothing, but Koneko cries as she points one little finger behind me, "Mew Mew Mew, Mew Mew Mew!" I ask as I turn my head, "look behind me?" I turn around and see Suicune laying injured in the road, so I quickly ask the crossing guard to stop traffic so I can save Suicune, which he does and I quickly rush out into the road and pick up the Water-type legendary dog, being careful not to jostle her as I get back onto the sidewalk and thank the crossing guard as I quickly yet carefully rush home, noticing the door is closed, and I say as Koneko looks at me since I have my hands full, "use Psychic to open the door, Koneko." Koneko nods and uses Psychic to open the door, then I walk inside, noticing that Nebula is still here, and sneak upstairs as the front door closes, then Koneko opens the bedroom door and I slip inside with Suicune still in my arms, and set her down on a towel. Then, just like Nurse Joy showed me, I apply a Full Restore to Suicune's wounds and bandage them just like Nebula showed me. Suicune says telepathically as she pushes herself upright with a groan as Koneko and Latias help her then she lays down and I give her a sturdy ceramic bowl with Pokémon food in it, "thank you, kind performer to be. I deeply appreciate the fact that you were willing to have the crossing guard stop traffic so you could save me." I say as I twirl a stray lock of my dark purple tipped golden blonde hair that goes all the way down to my knee around my index finger, "I just care about all Pokémon, even legendaries, I just don't care about capturing them unless it's either an emergency or they want me to. Right Sakura, Sylvia?" Sakura nods in confirmation with an "Espe-Espe" while Sylvia affectionately wraps one of her top two ribbon-like feelers around my arm and cries in confirmation, "Sylve!" Suicune says as she lowers her head into the sturdy bowl and eats the Pokémon food, "thank you kindly for this food, young trainer." I say as Icy sits down and uses her Ice Beam to create a small pillar of ice while Electra uses Focus Punch to break off ice cubes to ease Suicune's pain from her wounds then Electra wraps them in four paper towels and applies the makeshift ice pack to a bruise on Suicune's foreleg, "no problem, Suicune. Don't tell Raikou and Entei, but you're my favorite out of the three legendary dogs." Suicune's eyes dart up and widen in surprise as she asks, "are you serious?" I say as I kneel down beside Suicune and place one hand on her back after she lays down, "yeah." After a few days of staying at the house, Suicune starts to warm up to me, and such, she decides she wants to stay. So, she carefully climbs onto my bed and nudges my cheek to wake me up, and I ask once I prop myself up so I can look at her, "what is it, Suicune?" She admits softly, "I would like to join your team. If that is alright with you, though. If not then I understand." I say as Sakura floats a Cherish Ball over to my hand with Psychic, "OK, Suicune." She bows her head and I gently tap her forehead with the Cherish Ball, causing the red light to shoot out and encapsulate Suicune inside the Cherish Ball, which then shakes three times in my hand before clicking, indicating that Suicune has been caught, then I let her out while deciding to nickname her Niagara and she lays back down on the silk towel protected by a clear towel made of cloth, but Niagara feels the silk, not the cloth, she has been sleeping on for the past few days, and goes back to sleep just as I do. Later on, I gently wake Niagara and she follows me out of the house with my other Pokémon, and I take my Pokémon to the local Pokémon center, and I ask Nurse Joy if she can help Niagara. Soon, the familiar chime sounds and the door opens to reveal Niagara with Nurse Joy and Wigglytuff, Niagara's wounds gone, and Nurse Joy says as Niagara walks over to me and rubs up against me while wagging her split ribbon tail, so I gently rub her head and she presses her head into my hand as her eyes drift shut, "you did the right thing by having the crossing guard stop traffic so you could rescue Niagara and help her heal, but who taught you the bandaging technique you used for Niagara's bandages?" I respond as Blazing Beauty comes out of her Luxury Ball, "the family medic, Nebula, taught me while she was bandaging Blazing Beauty's elbow once because she was attacked by a Water-type Pokémon with Scald. She told me how to do it so I could get it right, and I used that bandaging technique to bandage Niagara's wounds. Of course, I made sure they weren't too loose or too tight, so they didn't trip her or hurt her, although she mostly stayed upstairs in the bedroom I share with my siblings so my mom and dad wouldn't kick her out." Nurse Joy says as she gently pats Niagara's head a couple times, "that was very clever of Niagara to stay hidden upstairs." Shimmer says as she pops out and claps her flippers together, "Brionne! Brionne!"
