RIDDLE VI: ENTITY

Why are these things happening to me now? I mean, seriously? First, my friend died and then just a while ago my ex-girlfriend showed up. Yeah, the second one is not a big deal actually but I just wanna make sure 'cause I don't want her to get involve in this mess that I'm in.

Ricciane's not here yet, I wonder where the hell did she go. The sky's turning grey bit by bit, I just hope that it won't rain till she's home.

"Waiting for someone?" What the? Someone suddenly talked. It's a different voice, the voice's familiar to me.

"Who's there?!" I shouted.

"You can hear me but you can't see me-- for now." Shit! All these crazy shit's starting to piss me off!

"Show yourself you fucking coward!" I stood up and checked every corner of our room. I don't see anyone, is it a ghost? Shoot!

"Don't rush. You'll meet me soon Kessler Alv and when that happens, it'll be the first and last time you'll see me."

"Show yourself I said, show yourself!"

"Uhm, you okay bro?" I looked behind me and there I saw Ricciane with a confused look on her face. "Who are you talking to?"

"Ah, uhm no Ricciane. I was just practicing, it's for our play." I said but her face is like saying 'seriously?'

"You sure? You've been acting weird this past few days bro, since you got the card actually. Is something bothering you?" She asked as she piled the things she bought. "And where's Scheheredane?" This time she's looking at me.

"She left just a few moments ago and yeah, why did you even brought her here Ricciane?" I asked with an irritated voice.

"So that you two could tal--

"Ricciane look out!"

"My God, what's the problem bro? Aw, ouch." Shit! Not my sister, I saw someone behind her. It was about to grab her on her shoulder, an entity that's all black.

"You okay?" I just jumped on her and hugged her so that I can protect her, yeah and now I can feel the pain starting to crawl up on my left leg.

"I should be the one asking you that. Why did you suddenly jumped on me?" She asked while she's helping me stand up. Should I tell her?

"I just thought that our ceiling fan's gonna fall off." I lied. It's for her own good, she then looked at the ceiling.

"Seriously bro? You were not looking up when you jumped on me, you were looking behind me. Now, tell me the truth." She asked with a serious voice. I then sat on the bed.

"I-- I just thought someone's behind you, that's all. Maybe I was just seeing things, don't mind me." Am I just really seeing things? She then walked towards me and kneel down to level herself to me.

"Brother." She held my hands and looked at me. "I'm always here for you, okay?" I can see in her eyes that she's worried about me.

"Oka--" Fuck, fuck, fuck! It's the entity again, it's standing behind Ricciane.

"Brother?" Is it The Riddler? Shit! Who is this fucking entity? "Hey bro?" What the hell does it want from me? "You okay bro? You're all sweaty and you're hands are cold." I can't move, it seems like it's restraining me. It's starting to get dark here, darker and darker.

"Ricciane?! Where is she?! "Where the hell is Ricciane?!" The entity is now right in front of me. It's doing nothing, it's just in front of me-- no, floating to be exact. "Where am I? Answer me?!" What the? Where are we? The place turned into a forest, a dark and gloomy forest, a creepy forest where I can't hear anything. There's just the two of us.

"You're in a game, game of life and death."

"What the-- how did you--"

"I should know, I created that game." What" He created the game? I'm right, he's the riddler. I heard him chuckled. "I can see from the way you look, what you think of me is not the truth."

"Hey, hey, hey!" Shoot, he suddenly vanished. "Why me?! Why?!"
