Is this really happening? That is the only question that's been going on inside my head over and over again. My shift already ended and I did what Mr. Gregory told me to do so. I walked out of the store without knowing what should I do. I don't have any idea when I'll be receiving another card, I just really hope that this is just a joke and everything's not true. I don't want anyone to die just because I cannot solve a riddle, this sucks!

"Top of the morning sleeping beauty!"

"Woah!" I lost my balance and I landed on my butt when someone suddenly jumped right in front of me. "Ouch , that hurts!" I exclaimed as I rubbed my back.

"Kessler, are you okay? I'm sorry." She held me in my arm and helped me stand up. "I'm really sorry Kessler, sorry." It's her again.

"It's okay, just don't do that again. I'll go now." I said in a low-toned voice and I past by her, I don't wanna be late again for Pete's sake. Hernhea's face suddenly flashed in my head, maybe because what I did earlier is kinda mean, shoot. It hit me, what I did was bad. I decided to go back where Hernhea was earlier but she was no longer there when I arrived. The only thing I'm seeing right now is a card lying on the road. I shouldn't have gone back, shoot! I looked away and faced the other direction, I wanna walk away but my feet won't let me. It feels like it wanted me to go and pick up that card.

"This is not happening." I said but here I am now, picking up the card. I looked at my watch immediately after I held the card . "7:35:50 AM."

'I never thought that she will cry, after the time I said goodbye. She flashed a smile that made me see, I'll regret the day I set her free.'

Is this really a riddle or a love quote? I really don't get it. I've been staring at this stupid card since the time I've found it. "What is this? What's the answer? Hmm.." I whispered to myself with my right hand placed under my chin.

"What a surprise Kessler dude, you're early today!" He shouted as he walked towards me. Sean is one of my closest friend, we've been friends since I can't remember when.

"Shut up Sean. I need to make up for the lates and absences I got, you know." He then sat beside me and grabbed the card I was holding and started reading what's written on it.

"I never thought that she will cry, after the time I said goodbye. She flashed a smile that made me see, I'll regret the day I set her free." He looked at me with a puzzled face. "What the fuck is this man?" He asked with a girly voice.

"Give me that." I managed to have it back before he even make a fuzz out of it then I hid it inside my bag. "It's just a card, nothing more." I said but he just laughed at me instead. "By the way, have you seen Hernhea?"

"No, why? Are you guys dating?" He asked with crossed-arms and a wide smile on his face.

"No." I can't believe this guy. How did it even happen that he became my friend?

"Hahaha if you say so." He then stood up and started walking towards the door until God knows where. There's still fifteen minutes before the class starts so I think I'll use this time to sleep for a while. I was about to rest my head on my arms when I saw someone's silhouette walking towards me. Who is it? I rubbed both of my eyes and when I removed my hands, I saw her.

"Hey Kessler, uhm-- I just want to apologize about earlier. I'm really sorry." It's Hernhea. I gave her a smile as I stood up.

"Forget about it Hernhea, I'm sorry about my attitude towards you too. Friends?" Then I reached out my hand to shake hands with her.

"Friends." She gave me a dazzling smile as we shaked each others hand.

"We'll meet at exactly 8:00 in the morning tomorrow here so don't be late, especially you Mr. Alv. Got it?"

"Yes Sir." He don't have to remind me anymore, I'm trying my best not to be late again. Sigh, what a pain in the ass.

"Good, okay class dismiss." What a day, I feel like I've done a lot of things when the truth is I've done nothing. And yeah, I still need to answer that riddle.

"Hey Kessler, let's go?"

"What do you mean let's go Hernhea?" I asked as I gave her a curious look.

"Let's go home together, silly." Woah? I was amazed by the way she laugh, I feel more relaxed. "Let's go?" She asked again but this time she's reaching out her hand to me while smiling.

"Su-- sure." I held her hand and stood up. "Let's go." I smiled at her and I don't know why but it seems like I'm starting to like this girl but something's bothering me. I just hope that I'm wrong.

"Uhm-- Hernhea, do you like riddles?"
