RIDDLE XVIII: NOT NOW

Kessler arrived after hours of travel. He parked the car not far from their school, he thought that it'll be better if he'll check here first. He's now just waiting for school to end.

"I just hope that Dane's wrong." He said.

He's focus on the school gate, he don't want to miss a thing. Also, he wanted to talk to any of his friends. After hours of waiting, the bell rang and students started walking out of the school gate. He keenly looked at every students face and he's been checking everyone but he haven't seen any of his friends. He was about to give up when he saw a very familiar person walking alone.

"Hernhea." He got off the car immediately and walked towards Hernhea's direction. When he noticed that no one's around he covered Hernhea's mouth and pulled her into an alley. He then faced her and removed his hand. "Hernhea." He mouthed softly.

"Kessler? Kessler!" He was surprised when she suddenly hugged him. "I thought I'd never see you again." She said with a worried voice.

"So do I Hernhea, so do I." He answered, Hernhea then ended the hug and looked at Kessler.

"What are you doing here? I mean, how'd you escape?" She asked.

"It's a long story. I just came here to ask you something." She's just looking at him, waiting for his question. "Are you guys alright, I mean is everything okay around here?" He asked.

"Uhm yeah, everything's fine."

"Where are they? Toby, Zelo, CL, Lyka and Jamila." He added.

"I think Lyka and Jamila's still at school since both of them were assigned for the new group activities. About the guys, they didn't go to school today. I haven't seen them since last week, why'd you asked by the way?"

"No-- nothing." So it was the three of them, he thought. "Okay, thanks Hernhea and also-- take care." He was about to leave when Hernhea held his hand, he looked at her and he can see that she's worried. "I need to go Hernhea, do you have something to say to me?" Hernhea hugged her again.

"I will, take care too Kessler." He hugged her back and tap her.

"I need to go." She released him and Kessler gave her a smile. "Thank you." He turned his back and slowly walked away from her.

"Kessler."

"Come on Dane, pick up the phone." He's been calling Scheheredane since he left Hernhea but she's not answering the call. "Dane." He's not sure if something happened but his instinct's telling him that something's not right. "Wait for me Dane, Ricciane."

CLICK! CHANGE GEAR.

He's driving real fast.

CLICK! CHANGE GEAR.

He's trying to calm down, he don't want to panic.

CLICK! CHANGE GEAR.

"Nothing happened, everything's fine." He keeps on repeating that line to convince himself that they're okay.
