RIDDLE XXI: THE RIDDLER

My body froze for a moment when I saw Jamila hanged on the ceiling. I don't know what to do, I can't move my body. Fuck! My friends are dying one by one and this is all my fucking fault!

"This is all my fault, this is all my fault, this is all my fault."

"Stand up Kessler. This is not the right time to lose hope." My eyes widen when I heard a very familiar voice. The voice I've been longing to hear.

"Dad." Tears then followed, I wasn't expecting to hear his voice again. "Da-- dad, help me. Plea-- please."

"My son, I created this game."

I don't know what to say. An entity suddenly appeared in front of me and that made me moved back.

"I never thought that you'll become a part of this game that I created just for fun."

"Fun? Do you think this is fun?!" I exclaimed, my fear turned into anger all of a sudden and that made me rise on my feet. "My friends are dying! Is this fun for you?!"

"Like I said, I created this game for fun and not for misery. You haven't changed at all."

"So, that was you who was on our room. The one I saw that was about to touch Ricciane." I can't believe that my own father can kill innocent people.

"I knew it. I've told you before, didn't I?" I didn't response. "I can see from the way you look, what you think of me is not the truth." Wait, what does he mean?

"Tell me everything! I don't have time for shitty talks and bullshits!" I'm really pissed off right now.

"I am not the riddler. The riddler is...

"So, it's you Dane. All along it was you." I looked back and there I saw her. She's right behind me leaning on the door.

"Yes, it was me all along brother." Brother?

"Brother? What the fuck are you talking about?!"

"What the fuck am I talking about? Hahaha! Ask him." She said as she pointed behind me.

"She's right son. She's my and Scheindina's daughter, your step-sister. I made a mistake before and now you're the one paying for it. I'm sorry--

"VANISH!" She shouted and my Dad suddenly vanished in thin air. "A mistake? So to him, I was a mistake all along hahaha! Even after his death, he still thinks the same." She started walking towards me. "I thought he and mom will change how they looked at me after I killed them but I was wrong." I was stunned by her revelations.

"You killed them?" My fists clenched but I'm trying to compose myself and control my emotions. I wanna know everything. "The guy that you chose before instead of me, was it Dad?" The car incident and when she left me was on the same day.

"You got it." She answered with a grin on her face. "I was planning not to kill them if they'll tell everyone the truth but they resisted." She's crazy.

"And so, I promised that same day that I'll make your life miserable. Not just you but also your friends and all the people near you, no one is safe." Her voice started to distort. "No one is safe hahaha!" That distorted voice, she really is---
