Rain pouring down the neighborhood serves as the hiding medium of Kessler. Less attention, less trouble. He's not sure if he can still trust the people around, they might already know that he's been to jail and what's worst-- that he should be inside an asylum. Luckily, there was a hoodie inside the bag, he wore it to hide his face fron the crowd and also because it's raining. He's still thinking about Dr. Santiago, she doesn't deserve to die like that.

"Finally." He whispered when he reached their apartment, he's now standing outside. He was about to twist the knob when it suddenly opened and there he saw the girl he missed so much.

"Bro-- brother?" She can't believe what she's seeing right now. She touched his face. "Are you real?" Tears flow down her cheeks.

"I am Ricciane, I am." They hugged each other and both of them started crying. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry." He said.

"You don't have to brother." They let go after a minute. "Let's go inside, people might freak out if they see you here." And so they went inside and they locked the door.

"How'd you get out of the asylum brother?" She asked as soon as they sat on the bed.

"Someone--" No, I can't tell her, he thought. "Uhm-- I mean something came up and when I saw an opportunity to escape then I took it and now I'm here." He answered, Ricciane's just looking at her. "What?"

"You didn't do anything stupid, did you?"

"No, of course not. Something just came up and that's it." He said but Ricciane's not convinced, she's just pretending that she is.

Silence, complete silence. The atmosphere's now filled up with total awkwardness between the two. Days of not being together felt like years for the both of them. Kessler stood up and started packing up some of his things. Things that he might need for his plan.

"What are you doing? Are you going somewhere?" Ricciane asked. "Are you leaving me again?" Her voice cracked. He looked at her and caressed her face.

"Ricciane, do you trust me?" She's just looking at him. "Do you trust me?" He repeated.

"I trust you brother."

"I need to go but I won't take long, okay?"

"Brother--" She's now crying. He hugged his sister to comfort her. Kessler doesn't want to leave Ricciane behind but it's for her safety.

"This is for the better, okay? You gotta trust me on this one, alright?" She just nodded as an answer. "Okay good, now I want you to call Scheheredane and--

"No need."

"Scheheredane? How'd you get in here?" I was surprised when we suddenly saw her inside our room.

"I gave her a duplicate key bro, after the day you were arrested. She often visits me here to check up on me." Ricciane answered.

"That's right Kessler. Don't worry, I'll take care of her while you're away." Wait? How did she--

"Dane, let's talk." We're just staring at each other. "Just the two of us." She just nodded.

"Uhm-- okay then I'll just leave you two here for a while then." Ricciane's about to leave the room but I decided that we'll just talk outside.

"Stay here Ricciane. We'll just talk at the café nearby. If anything happens or if you feel something's gonna happen, call Dane and leave this room immediately. Understand?" I said.

"Wait, what? I don't understand, what's up bro?"

"Just listen Ricciane, your brother knows what's best for you. Just do what he's telling you, okay?" Dane answered in my behalf, I really think that she knows something.

"Okay then." I can see that Ricciane's worried.

"Take care sis." I hugged her, I'm gonna miss my sister. "We'll go now." She just nodded. We walked outside the room and before the door's completely shut, I saw tears flowing down her cheeks.

They arrived at the café 10 minutes after they left the apartment. They decided to occupy the seats near the entrance just in case something happens. A waiter approached them and they just ordered two black coffees. Kessler doesn't know where to start. They're just looking at each other.

"If you got any questions or if you wanna say something Kessler, now's the time." Scheheredane broke the silence when she felt that Kessler's quite bothered.

"Uhm-- first of all, your mom--"

"She's gone. Yeah, I knew it already." Kessler looked at her and he saw no reactions at all.

"Aren't you sad or what? Why are you like this?" He asked.

"I knew that my mom's going to die, I foresaw it." Kessler's surprised and quite confused right now. He doesn't understand what she's saying.

"Wait-- what? What, what do you mean Dane?" His brows almost met, showing that he really doesn't understand anything.

"Listen Kessler, I can see things that's going to happen, things in the future." Kessler's speechless and he still have that confused look on his face. "I can sense if something bad will happen and if someone will die. I can also tell how they'll die but I can't tell when it'll happen." Kessler can't believe what he's hearing right now.

"I don't have time for jokes right now Dane." He said as he moved his face closer to her. "Stop telling me all these bullshits 'cause I got my own problems to handle. I wanna talk to you about me leaving Ricciane to you but I think I made the wrong decision." He stood up and turned his back. "I'm forever grateful to your mom, condolence." He was about to walked when Dane said something that made him stopped.

"The Riddler."
