RIDDLE XXIII: NOT DONE YET

Kessler ended Dane's life by cutting her head off. He threw the axe away afterwards and he started walking out of the room. He still needs to burn down the whole cabin to free up all the trapped souls but before that, he decided to retrieve his friends' bodies to give them a proper burial.

He placed the bodies of Zelo, Court Louise, Toby and Jamila outside the cabin, he laid them on the ground.

"Wait." Kessler realized that he still have one friend left. "Lyka." He was about to enter the cabin again when Hernhea and Ricciane arrived.

"Ricciane!" He hugged her sister tightly. "I'm so glad you're alive. We're safe now, Dane's gone." He said and he saw Hernhea standing behind Ricciane. "Thank you." He mouthed and gave her a smile. She smiled back and nodded as a response.

"You did it bro. Cherish disappeared too when she was about to attack us in the forest. She ended the hug and held Kessler's hand. "Let's save the details later bro. We need to leave this place now."

"Wait, not yet." They looked at them when he disagreed. "I need to find Lyka, I think she's still inside that cabin."

"She's probably dead too Kessler." Hernhea responded.

"Even so, if she's gone then I still need to find her body to give her a proper burial." He turned his back to them and breathe. "I just hope that she's still alive." He walked inside the cabin again while Ricciane and Hernhea waited outside.

"Dane's gone but why am I still worried?" Ricciane said while she keep on walking back and forth.

BRAAAAAAAAGGGSSSSHHHHHHH!!!

"AHHHHHHGGGGHHHHH!!!"

BLAAAGGG! THUMPP!!

"BROTHER!!/KESSLER!!" They shouted when they saw Kessler flew out of the cabin. He landed hard on the ground and that made him cough more blood than before.

"BROTHER!" Ricciane held her brother up but Kessler can't feel his body anymore. "Look at me brother! Look at me!" Her tears are now flowing on her cheeks down to Kessler's face.

"Lyka?" Ricciane looked at Hernhea when she said something. She saw her looking at the cabin and when she turned her gaze to its direction, she saw a girl dressed in a school uniform. Her blouse's open and they noticed that instead of seeing her undergarment, they saw something written on its chest.

"Ego aeternam." Hernhea said.

"Ego aeternam? What does it mean Hernhea?" Ricciane asked.

"Tha-- that's Latin. I-- I am eternal." They looked at Kessler who answered their question.

"I am eternal?" Hernhea repeated.

"THAT'S RIGHT!" They were all surprised when they heard a distorted voice and when Lyka suddenly appeared between them. "I. AM. ETERNAL!!" Lyka grabbed their neck and threw them on the ground.

"Agh!/Ahhh!" Now, the three of them are lying down on the ground.

"Kessler, Kessler, Kessler." That distorted voice. Lyka sat on Kessler's body and moved her face closer to Kessler's face. Hernhea and Ricciane are still on the ground, they are quiet far from where Kessler is.

"Miss me? Hahaha!!" Kessler don't know what's happening right now. "What's with the face?"  She asked while grinning. "Oh wait, I forgot to introduce myself. "She stood up as she held Kessler on his collar and lifted him up in the air.

"Acckkk--" He can't breathe.

"I am Dane Santiago." Kessler can't believe what he just heard. He looked at her and he saw her smiling widely. "Say hello to God for me. Goodbye brother."

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

"BROTHEEEEERRRR!!" Ricciane shouted when she saw what happened to Kessler.

Her hand went straight Kessler's heart and it totally pierced through his body. Ricciane saw her brother's body with no signs of life anymore. Blood's flowing out of Kessler's body just like her tears.

"Le-- let's go Ricciane!" Hernhea's trying to pull her up but Ricciane's just sitting on the ground, crying really hard. "Come on Ricciane!" She shouted. Hernhea's not removing her gazed at her. "I think Dane's inside that body Ricciane, we have to go now." She looked at her for a while but when she return her look at Lyka, she wasn't there anymore. "Shit! She's gone! Let's go Ricci--

"Looking for me?" Her eyes widen when she heard a distorted voice behind her. "Boo!" She threw Hernhea in the air and was about to attack Ricciane but she suddenly vanished. "Hmm?" She looked around but she only saw Hernhea on the ground and Kessler's dead body.

"I'm here to help you Ricciane."

"Che-- cherish?"
