The Riddler (Completed)

RIDDLE XX: REUNITED

"Abandoned cabin?" Dane repeated. I nodded as a response, I continued looking outside but it's too dark and all I can see are trees covered in fog.

TAK, TAK, TAK.

"What was that? Did you hear that?" I asked when I heard something.

"I think it's coming that way." Ricciane said as she pointed towards the direction in front of us.

TAK, TAK, TAK.

"Who's there?" I asked as I moved Ricciane and Dane behind me. "I said, who's there?"

"Yihihi!"

"Shit."

"Ke-- kessler, that's the same laugh I heard after I got hit from behind." So, it's not just me who heard this creepy laugh.

"Yihihi!"

"It's getting closer. Run now, run!" I can feel that its chasing us. "Don't look back, okay? Just keep running!" It's so dark in here, fuck! We kept running, shit my body hurts.

"My legs hurt brother, I don't think I can run anymo-- aahh!"

BLAG!

"Ricciane!" Dane and I shouted when Ricciane fell down on the floor. We walked back to where she fell and was about to held her up but we were stunned when we saw someone with a creepy smile on her face walking towards Ricciane.

But what made me stopped was when I realized who it was.

"Hernhea? But why?"

"Yihihi"

"BROTHEEEEEEERRR!"

"Ricciane!" Fuck! Hernhea grabbed her on her feet and started dragging her. "Ricciane! Ricciane! Ricciane!" Dane and I are running after them. "Ricc--

BRAAAAGGGGSSSSHHHH!!!

"Agh-- fuck."

"Kessler! Kessler you alright?!" Shit! The floorboards suddenly broke and I fell down below.

"Agh, *cough, cough* Don't worry, I'm okay." I'm still lying down here, my back hurts.

"I-- I lost sight of them Kessler, what should I do?" She asked. I know she's about to cry any moment now.

"Wait for me up there, it'll be better if we'll look together." I said as I stood up, agh. Luckily, the portion of the ceiling a while ago is not that far from where I was so I used it again to go up.

"Kessler." I saw her running towards me.

"We need to find Ricciane and get out of this place fast Dane." I held her hand and we started walking again. "Where are you Ricciane?" I whispered to myself.

"Wait Kessler." We stopped walking and I looked at her with a questioning face. "Agh! Ahhh!" Its happening again.

"Dane!" She started screaming in pain as she dropped on her knees down on the floor. I saw blood again running down on her cheeks. "What is it Dane? What  do you see?" I asked while I'm caressing her face. "Dane."

"They're here."

"What do you mean? Who are they?"

"You're friends. They're all here. It's not just the three of us Kessler." She answered while holding her head. "We're all in grave danger." She then opened her eyes and looked at me. "I can see people dying."

"No, no." I hugged her and I can feel her heart beating fast. She started crying again, shit! I'm fucking useless. "Everything's gonna be alright Dane, okay?" I hope so. "Trust me, I'll do anything and everything I can to get all of you out of this fucking mess." I held her up and wiped her tears. "Let's go."
