Chapeter seven

Logans POV

I slept for like maybe 15 minutes when Tyler woke me up saying to get up. "What the hell Tyler im sleeping what's so important that you had... to.. wake..." I couldn't finish because I got interrupted by this delicious smell.. I couldn't explain it, it was the most amazing smell I've ever smelt and it was driving me crazy. I walked out under the willow tree and looked around. I stopped when I saw this gorgeous white wolf laying down on a bolder. "Mate!!!" Tyler said to me but I blocked our mind-link. I just stood their watching her trying to sleep but she couldn't. She was wagging her tail, as if she was excited. There was two bunnies running in front of her, they stepped on a branch and startled her making her get up. At first she looked forward ready to attack. She looked so adorable. You could tell just by that she was a fighter, a small one but a fighter. She quickly relaxed when she realized it was just a couple of bunnies. But then she got all stiff when she sniffed the air. She slowly turned her head facing me. My heart beat increased to the point where I thought my heart would jump out of my chest. She had the most beautiful gray/blue eyes. She was still shocked and hadn't moved a muscle since she turned to me. So I decided to walk over to her. I stopped when our snouts where about to touch. She closed the distance and put her head under mine, so my head was on hers. I closed my eyes and inhaled her scent. That's when I noticed that she smelt like roses and a hint of chocolate. She smelt so delicious it was making me melt. And she was so cute in her wolf form. I couldn't imagine how she looked in her human form. My little own angel. My beautiful mate.... I stiffened when I realized that this was wrong. I couldn't be with her. I would put her in danger and risk her life. I couldn't do do that to my angel. I whimpered and backed away from her. She looked sad, heartbroken. I lowered my head and turned around. I ran, I ran as fast as I could. Not turning back to see her. By the time I got into my territory it was dark and it started to rain. And I don't mean  a little rain it was pouring rain. I shifted once I got to one of the spots we hide our shorts in. I put on some shorts and dropped to my knees. I couldn't keep my tears in so I let myself break down. Why is this happening to me? Why did they have to be after me and everyone I love? Why couldn't they just leave my angel alone? I didn't want to hurt her. All I wanted was for her to be happy but she wouldn't be happy while I was still alive.. I saw something coming towards me but I didn't care. I put my head on the ground. I felt a hand on my shoulder and immediately knew it was Derek. "Come on Logan, lets get you inside." Derek said helping me up and getting me into my room. He gave me dry clothes a towel and pushed me in the bathroom so I could take a hot shower. After I got out and changed I got into my bed and tried sleeping. But I couldn't all I could do was cry and feel my angels pain..
