Chapter 14: Save Through Sacrifice

Shin was the one who knocked the platinum blonde out by using one of the medical serum's specialized to use for surgery/ or operation purposes rather than his own vampiric power, he looked ready to assist yet something told me he's putting a brave front for Yui Komori's sake. He owed her that much.

Moving the beds up alongside each other, with us a two pure bloods and First Blood in the middle, I removed the sling bag cutting away down the collar of Yuki's pink top to the bottom to reveal a small undergarment: which I sliced off revealing her chest.

Heh, they have similar flat chests, how coincidentally convenient, this should be simpler.

Reji smirked in silent amusement removing his glove before touching Yuki's chest then Yui's letting his power numb their bodies from skin, blood and bone to the heart of the problem: Shin sliced through with a surgery knife to remove the heart that once belonged to the triplet's mother, I followed suit with the other girl.

"Oi, is it time to switch the girl's hearts? Which one of us is swapping first, heh, pure blood?"
Shin asks none to nicely wanting to get this over with before the hearts wasted away.

Bloody crimson dripping through their fingers, both exchanged heart for heart quickly before placing the opposite heart into another body: Reji watched Yuki's veins accept her heart into the body, Cordelia's blood starting to pump into the bloodstream, and stitching the skin neatly back together like thread and needle to ripped cloth until only a white scar remained.

Likewise, on his end Shin cleaned the body of last traces of the virus before laying a fresh sheet around Yui's body but not her face.

Smell of their blood fresh in the air from finest to less quality and Yui Komori was starting to fade away before our very eyes, Shin grinned his teeth together plunging the needle gingerly into her wrist's left vein slowly pushing the contents into her system.

These were only used to bring less pain to patients as they died. To use this on Yui Komori would stop her suffering pain at death's door.

Yui's last breath exhaled oxygen, chest stiffened to freeze and spark of her life diminished to nothing: her hand dropped to the side.
Reji Sakamaki, Ayato and Shin Tsukinami stood in complete silence, the others sensing this stopped talking to acknowledge the passing of the girl close to them, leaving behind a small legacy.

Yui Komori was gone.

Moaning of the walking dead stopped, and thumps could be heard breaking the silence. Reji cleared his throat seeing the heart monitor on Yuki's side start beating into slow rhythm.
Anti-virus enters the room, they waited for the worst, but nothing happened, Yue's body did not turn .... the operation worked successfully.
