To the dearest reader,
I am currently aware of the unforeseen circumstance that I (the author), have failed to uphold a consistent form of upload in the past months. With that being said, bear this in mind:
There are far worst cases.
(I'm just saying)The following chapter will be up soon. For now, here's the story so far, and allow me to set the stage, in what I will bluntly call the climax of the whole tale- the main arc of why this story was written:
It's the start of prom night, and the handsome devil (by some magical and divine intervention) has successfully gotten the hand of Angie, the apple of his eye. Except in the process, he was rejected.
Being seen only as a friend sucks. Especially by someone who you wished saw you as you saw them. However, prom night was still happening, and things seem to be looking up, as for one night, she let herself be naive. Nick never knew this at the time, but my godlike powers of fourth-wall intervention allow me to infer this.
As the hours tick to midnight, Nick is with a girl who does not see him in that way, but he knows that there's a girl in that party who does. What happens then, dear reader?
The truth lies ahead. In between everything else.
