Lola's POV :

A soft breeze blew past the green meadow I was standing in . Daffodils and daisies grew far and wide in the meadow till my line of vision could make out . How ironic huh ? Flowers when I was actually dead..... Wait.. Am I actually really dead ? Is this someplace connecting heaven and earth ? I am going to heaven , ain't I ?
Perhaps the road to heaven ,then .

The scene was enchanting . Not once in my 23 years of life had I had a clear experience of nature and I only saw pictures from movies . And currently, it looked like a 4-d movie to me .

From a distance , I could hear the whisper of a woman . Her tone was that of a soft spoken one . "Lola ?," suddenly a whisper came from my side . And ....lucky guess, I jumped . I whipped my head real quick to the side and searched my surroundings . No one was there . Great ! Now on top of being in between life and death , I was getting THE chills .

"Where are you !? Who are you !?," I demanded. Suddenly , a woman appeared in front of me . She was middle aged and in a pretty yellow sundress ...And , her....her eyes ...her eyes were black . Like not the ghosty black that gave you the fright of your life but just her eye lens were black ..black like someone I know ....Waittt why am I even thinking about him when I'm in a death position !? Oh my good Lord ! Lola Lacey Evangeline ! You have lost your tiny ,tiny brainsss !

"Lacey ?," the woman asked me in a soft tone . Bonus point for me was that she had a soft smile on her face so that'd probably mean I'm still safe from murder , that is if I'm not yet dead ! Haha! Lola and her sense of humor ! "Dear , you're good at zoning out , ain't you ?," the woman said with a light laugh .

Embarrassed at the remark of this stranger , I replied ," Sorry... Um..Who are you ?"
"Who am I ....," she said frowning her eyebrows ," That's a good question dear . Well, maybe you'll find out soon enough . But not right now . In the mean time , we should talk . I have so many things to say before time runs out ."

Time runs out ? What time ?
"I know you have many questions and I too, have many things to tell , my dear . Things that may not make sense now , but things, things that'd mean the most after all that is bound to happen ," she continues ,"Remember -Every storm that comes by, isn't all tht bad . Every shut door can be opened though it might take time . Every piece of hope should be harboured for the light to come . And every soul , has light . Remember this dear , remember it . I can promise you this storm has come only to cleanse you clean .Only to make you ready for the darkness to reign and only to make you strong enough to fight against it . To be the light ."

And after this , i was left utterly speechless . What could she have meant by those ? Why could have she told me such riddles ?
"Ma'am ,...I , I can't understand any of this !?," i said ," Am I really not already dead ? Away from my only family ? Away from the earth already ? Isn't there even a heaven that I can go yo anymore ?" I sobbed . A few tears slipped as my confusion over whelmed me . A light hug engulf me into it's warmth .

"Shh dear. Who said you are ever dead ? You ain't dying anytime soon .Don't cry , dear . Know that an Alpha female's got to be strong .You have been the ruler , the Alpha of your life till now haven't you ?," she said . Those words shooted me . The Alpha of my life ? Yes , for as long as i've  know ? Yes . But sometimes tears do come out .After all, i am still a human.

"But all of this ! All of this ain't make any sense Ma'am .None of it makes ! I don't  wanna be 'Curiosity killed the cat '! ," I sobbed ," I never thought of being murdered. "

She hugged me even tighter and said ,"Shh .... Everything happens for a reason Maya . Everything does .It'll all be fine soon . Don't cry dear child ." And to that I sobbed harder . Then I suddenly stopped . Maya ?  I looked up to her in confusion .
"Maya ?," I asked ," Maybe you are mistaken Ma'am . I'm Lacey , not Maya ." "Nah, child. There is so much more in this world than what you know of . Maya...soon you'll realize this name ...Soon enough", she said . Then she looked around and I was once again confused . But then , the lady was becoming a bit vivid and cloudy like and she was....she was starting to disappear , bit by bit ...right in front of my eyes .

" It seems I've run out of time dear child .But remember what I said Maya .... Dal-i neugdaeleul sungsuhan bich-eulo jibae halttaen , geu-geoseun dangsin ee gong-gyeong haeya hall taeida . Be well," were her last words before she disappeared right in front of my eyes . The warm air surrounding me being the only reminder that someone else was here with me .And once again , I was left in this abyss , all alone ... Maya ...
What could she mean ?
' Dal-i neugdaeleul sungsuhan bich-eulo jibae halttaen , geu-geoseun dangsin ee gong-gyeong haeya hall taeida ' for some unknown reason, the strange words remained unforgettably and permanently in my mind.

But then , everything started moving and whirling so fast that I don't know if I was falling down or if I was flying but all at once , I was transported to a place where I was sleeping under a bright light . This I could make out as though I was in a bed with eyes closed and out of consciousness , I or...or my soul , let's say , was brightly awake and saw all things even from under closed lids ...I could even make out the various murmurs that filled the space . Then , suddenly , I was pulled back to my body and my eyes opened ! With fright and shock .....and I was even more surprised to find myself in a familiar room with antique and richly modern designs , with a white light shining on top of eyes , and familiar black eyes staring back at mine . Black eyes which were pouring with emotions , emotions that I could make out as worry , anxiety and .....and ...love... Nah ,no it couldn't be .

"Cavarian ," it was the first word that left my mouth . And the biggest surprise of all the very shocking things that just went down was when he put his mouth to mine , electricity and tingles coursed through my body  ...and he kissed me with urgency .

And I don't know why , but I felt like I was in heaven ... A heaven I didn't know existed .
