Erelil's POV
Smaug is in a deep sleep and most likely won't wake for a few days unless something wakes him up. So I've stayed clear of the treasure hall so that I don't wake him. The reason I am trying not to escape while he is asleep. Is because he'd attack Lake Town then come after me killing anyone in his way. And I'll not have their deaths and suffering on my shoulders.
I'm wearing my brown dress and fur cloak as I sit on the railing that over looks the front gate. A couple of days ago I noticed the bargeman return with barrels of fish with my elf sight. Which is odd as he usually returns with empty barrels. This I could have sworn I saw a boat heading towards Dale.
But I ignored it thinking it was just some of the villagers wanting to see if the legend of the singing princess was true. As the sun begins to set I notice a group of small figures heading towards the west side of the mountain. I decide to start to sing:

Always there" I finish just as the sun sets on the horizon and the moon shines on the mountain. Then I just watch the stars above until the mountain shakes. "Good damn it can't he give me a day of peace" I grumble reentering the mountain. But before I could enter the treasure hall I was grabbed from behind and my mouth was covered to stop me from screaming.
