Chapter fifteen:
Connor's POV:
"CONNOR?! WHERE ARE YOU?! CONNOR?" I heard Bethany scream. Walking into the bedroom I saw tears pouring down her emotionless face. "Shh it's okay love, come here" I whispered into her hair pulling her as close to my chest as I could manage. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want, but I'm here if you want to talk. Remember that okay?"
"I was.." She paused for a long while, her breathing getting heavier, "abused...here...I didn't know who the guy was...he just turned up..." She whispered between cries. "Con..."
"Beth, it's okay" I pulled her away from my chest and hugged her as hard as I could manage. "We're leaving today okay?" I paused, looking down and straight into her eyes, "I meant it last night, I love you Bethany. Forever and always."
