Bumalik naman sya ulit sa pagluluto.
"Naku, siguraduhin mo lang Horvejkul kundi... Sisiguraduhin ko ring di ka na makakatapak pa ng 50 meters near me." She said
"Hon naman... It's just work... Besides sabi ko nga support lang ako doon, ok?" Sabay lapit at yakap ko ulit sa kanya.
She just glared at me and i kissed her lips quick then she get back to her cooking. Then her phone starts to buzz.
"Could you please get that call for me? Baka si Luna or si Amber yan." Vic
I immediately grabbed her phone, answer the call and put it in speaker mode without looking who the caller is.
"Qian?" A woman's voice echoed the whole kitchen
"Mama!" Vic shouted, napatingin lang din ako sa kanya. Is she truly her mother?
"Baby, did i disturb you?" Her Mama lovingly said
"No, i'm not yet asleep Ma. I'm cooking something for midnight snackin'." Vic
"I call to greet you a Merry Christmas before it ends." Mama
She stopped what she's doing and moved closer to me, the phone rather.
"Merry Christmas, i love you and i missed you and Papa." Vic said, her eyes are becoming teary as she said those words.
I knew that feeling to. Yung malayo ka sa pamilya mo at nagce celebrate ka ng mga ganitong selebrasyon ng nag-isa. I knew that feeling very well coz i'm also like her. Kaya nga andito kami ngayon and magkasama e, we become each other's family during these times.
"Papa and I love you and missed you too, Qian." Mama
"Where's Papa?" Vic
"Qianqian!" Papa
"Papa! Papa i missed you..." Vic
"Baby please come home if you have time. Papa missed you so much." Papa
"I will Papa." Vic
"Bring your man with you Baby, i want to meet him personally." Papa
"I will Papa." She said then she looks at me
Tumango lang ako at ngumiti.
"Papa! Khun's with me now... We spend Christmas together." She said that makes my heart beats fast because of nervousness. Paano kung magalit sila na magkasama kami buong gabi? Paano kung anong isipin nila... Paano kung...
"Really? It's good that you have someone to be with now, we thought you're still celebrating Christmas alone." Mama
"Go- Good evening, Maam, Sir, this is Nickhun, Merry Christmas!" I nervously said while my girlfriend here is silently laughing and enjoying seeing me like this.
"Khun, Merry Christmas too and Thanks for being there with Qian for us. We really appreciate everything you did for her. Thank you." Mama
"No need to say thank you Maam. It's my responsibility to take care of her now."
"I'll hold on to your words Nickhun. Besides i trust you with that." Her father said that makes me smile.
"Thank you Sir."
"Just call us the way Qian call us too, son. You're a part of the family now." Papa
Napatingin ako kay Vic and she smiled and hugged me.
"Yes Papa."
"You enjoy Christmas together. We needs to rest too." Mama
"We will come and visit you next time, Ma, Pa!" Vic
"Byebye!" End of call
After the call ay nagtinginan lang kaming dalawa.
"So, they really welcomed you to the family." Vic
"It's an approval right?"
"It is! They even ask you to call them Mama and Papa! Hon are you ok?" Vic
There's this happiness in my heart after Vic confirmed everything. This is really a Merry Christmas!
"Merry Christmas Hon." Vic
"Merry Christmas too Hon." I said and then hugged her tight before we share the food she cooked for us.
