Nothing Better (Khuntoria Story No. 1)

May 24. It's our first anniversary and gumising sakin ay isang doorbell sa pinto. I immediately wore my robe and went down to check if who's my visitor.

Lumabas naman ako sa gate to check but then wala akong nakitang tao and all i saw is a box. I examined it syempre baka mamaya kung ano to no, but then i saw a note on top of it.

"Sweet morning to the sweetest lady i ever knew! Your more sweeter than all of this combined!"
                                
Napangiti naman ako agad at kinuha ang box. I opened it and i saw that it is full of my favorite chocolates and on top of it is a piece of chocolate inside a glass! Wow! He really exert a lot of effort for this!

Pumasok naman ako sa bahay at naghanda na for i have a scheduled pictorial with Krystal for a fashion magazine at 9 AM. Nilagay ko naman sa bedside table ko ang glass, took a picture of it at naghanda na.

I asked my manager to pick me up at 8 AM na nagawa naman nya and now i'm in the studio with Krystal.

"Unnie, happy anniversary." She whispered

"Paano mo nalaman?"

"Ako pa ba?" She said then balik ayus ng upo nya.

Hinayaan ko nalang din sya. It's already 5 hours since we started and we are already preparing for our last layout when manager-nim appeared with 2 flowers in hand. One is for Krystal and the other is mine.

Kinuha naman agad ni Krystal ang bulaklak at binasa ang note.

"Ah, thanks, pati ako may pa flowers." Krystal

"Ako bumili nyang para sayo, baka kasi may makahalata kung si Vic lang." Bulong namam ng manager namin na ikinatawa ko at ikinasimangot naman ni Krystal.

Tiningnan ko naman ang note for me at  napangiti naman ako ulit pagkabasa ko ng nakasulat.

"Beautiful flowers for a beautiful lady, but your beauty is incomparable and no flower can match it."

Then manager-nim handed me a small box and inside is just like the first glass i received this morning but this time, instead if chocolate, it is a red rose inside!

"Wow! It's so beautiful!" Krystal

"Yes it is!"

After receiving the 2nd gift ay we resumed the shoot and we finished at 3 PM. Sa SM office na kami sunod na pumunta dahil doon na naghihintay sina Luna at Amber samin.

Nagrehearse lang kami and around 3:30 ay may dumating na pizza delivery but on top of the pizza boxes ay may isang maliit ulit na box at card.

"Happy 1st anniversary my Qian     I love you to the stars and back!"

P.S. I'll pick you up at 8. Wear my gift.

I opened the box and this time pizza slice naman ang naka incase sa glass. Napatawa naman ako sa reaction ng apat pati na ng manager namin.

"Pizza? Wear my gift tapos ganyan? Anong gagawin mo naman jan?" Manager-nim

"Omma, there still something inside." Luna

Tiningnan ko ukit ang box at nakitang meron pa ngang another box sa loob. Binuksan ko naman ito and there i saw  a platinum necklace with a star shaped pendant made of Diamond. It's so beautiful na nagkatinginan lang kami ng members ko ng makita namin.

"Wala na... Syang sya na talaga Omma. Daebak!" Krystal

"Yan ang isusuot!" Manager-nim

"Woah!" Amber

It is so grand, parang ayoko tuloy isuot to! Now i can truly say that he's really a prince! Yaman e!
