A worn out bell rung throught the little shop, the new client came into view. The employee in turn gave an exhausted sigh he spun his head as he heard the backdoor indicating his ticket out of the shop. Before the client got to the cash register he ducked and almost crawled his way to the back where he found Lance. The tall, tan, expressive, boy just putting on his light blue apron with a silver nametag engraved in black reading 'Lance'.

"Hey!" Lance's co-worker whispered at him trying to get the boy's attention, "Hey'yo Lance" this time he decided to throw a small eraser chunk that had found it's way to the ground from the desk in the back which was currently vacant. "Hmm?" Lance looked to his sides searching where the piece was thrown from, he then noticed Jerry on the ground looking as if he wanted something from him, another favor perhaps. "Sup, Jer" smiled Lance placing his hand on the left side of his hip, a habit he acquired a some point in his life, probably his mom's influence.

"You've gotta' let me outta' here" Jerry looked back where the client was now entranced with his phone, he looked back at Lance racking his head for a good bargain. "Ok, how bout' this, you cover what's left of my shift and of course your own and I'll do you a good favor sometime?" he kept his eyes fixed on Lance waiting for the tan man's response. Lance smirked, "sure" he placed his other arm on the other side of his hip. "Thanks, buddy" with that said Jerry threw his apron somewhere along his way to the exit.

Lance shook his head slowly, "man, that guy" he said barely above a whisper.

He strode his way to where the client was distractedly waiting.

Lance almost laughed were it not for his pro skills at stiffling his bursts'; He had spend already near three full minutes waiting until this boy disconnected from the virtual realm. Done with this little wait of his he decided to get the boy's attention. Leaning towards the edge of the counter he noticed the boy has a mullet, and a nice jacket.

"Psst"

He waited a second or two

"Psssst"

This time he felt a little of his saliva fly out due to his emphasize on the 't', he chuckled at his little action. Still, the client-boy hadn't bother noticing Lance's efforts. Lance walked out of the working area and to the area clients sat, or would, there only being the mullet-boy. He tried to as quietly as possible got a chair and sat as close and as unnoticed as he could, then he leaned in and said in a cool, confident voice "Name's Lance" a big smile pulling at the corner of his lips.

Undeniably surprised the boy jumped what seemed five feet in the air and when he reached the ground glared at Lance enough to burry him five feet under. "the hell man?" he said obviously not as amused unlike Lance who's smile only grew along with a slight glint in his eyes. "Just saying' my name, y'know customer service." Lance winked then went back to his spot behind the counter. Mullet-boy rolled his eyes and went over to order what he wanted.
