I am profoundly anxious and anticipated as I open this letter. As so it reads, "Congratulations Primrose! I am pleased to inform you that you have been officially accepted to The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) for this upcoming Fall Semester."

After that first sentence, I let out a inhale I didn't realize I was holding. I am so grateful to have been accepted to the college I've always wanted to attend, the college with the best forensic programs in the state. Now that this is off my worry list, all I have to think about now is getting through this last month of high school that consists of prom and graduation. I'm not too stressed out about all of this but I am excited since I only get to live through this once.

"Unless you'd like to revisit in a dream of course," Lucy intruded in on my thoughts. "Congratulations, by the way, I knew you'd get in," she continued placing a soft kiss on my cheek.

"Thank you," I replied. I do have the ability to block her out of my thoughts but not when she creeps in unexpected. She has said I have that ability as well but I guess I haven't acquired that skill yet.

"Are you sure you want to dorm with me? I know it's kind of early in our relationship".

"It has been almost nine months, and of course I'm sure Lucy," I reassured.

"Okay, so are you ready to head out?

"Yeah give me a second to grab my wallet."

After a moment we headed out the door. I have a fashionable women's wallet that holds my keys on it as well. I noticed a strange looking key that I've never seen before hanging along the rest of my keys as we walked out the door. Once I took my first look outside the first thing I see is a new black 2012 Toyota RAV4 in the driveway. Then I looked at Lucy and said: "Don't play with me like that, I know I'm dreaming."

"I promise this is real, I'm not tricking you, happy graduation love."

"How could you afford this?"

"Your mother and I decided to surprise you with it. With both of us living on campus, we'd need at least one car to help us get around."

Then I see my mom getting out of the front seat. I ran towards her with a big hug. "Thank you guys so much, I love you".

"I love you too sweetheart".

"Give it a test drive," said Lucy.

I walked around to the driver's seat and Lucy got in on the other side. I waved at my mom once again and headed towards the mall. The drive was so smooth and I sat high but not too high, which is one of the reasons I love this car so much.

Once we entered one of the department stores I was in awe each direction I looked. We were surrounded by thousands of beautiful prom dresses of all colors, shapes, and sizes.

"Where do we even start?" Asked Lucy, she is obviously just as amazed as I am.

"Let's go over here to our sizes and see what they have," I suggested. I led the way and almost instantaneously something caught Lucy's attention. She came to a stop and stared at this beautiful metallic black long, large and ruffled at the bottom dress with an also metallic deep blue slanted pattern along the bottom half from the waist down. I'm pretty sure we both just fell in love with this dress. Then a lady who worked at this store approaches us and ask "Hello, can I help you ladies find anything?"

"Do you have other dress identical to this one?" Lucy replied.

"Not at this moment but if you wish to purchase them I can have it shipped to your home within four to five business days."

"Great, that means we'll receive it right in time."

"You've got to stay out of my head," I said to Lucy once the lady walked off.

"I like the idea of us matching at prom as well," she replied with a wink.

Lucy headed towards the fitting room with the dress and I slowly followed behind. During my walk, I continued to look around admiring all the special occasion dresses. I noticed the one Lucy is trying on now it quite different from the rest of the dresses. The major difference I notice is that it's the only one with sparkling metallic ruffles. Lucy quickly exited the room she was in interrupting my thoughts. I stared in awe for more than just a few moments, Lucy let out a small laugh. Then finally I say, "You look... beautiful".

"Thank you, Primrose," she said with a genuine smile. "Do you think we have the same dress size?"

"I think there's a strong possibility, but I'll try it on as well once you're finished with it."

Moments later she returned out with the dress, I decided to use the same room she did. It is kind of small in here but I'll make it work. I feel like it always takes me forever to try on new clothes. I look in the mirror and say to myself it looks much better on Lucy, but it is a perfect fit. As I begin walking out I noticed Lucy isn't where I left her. She is actually making a dash towards the front door. Right as I'm wondering what and the actual hell she is doing, she stops a lady making her way out the door and has a quick conversation with her. Once she starts walking back she glances up at me but I don't think she actually saw me because she has a confused look on her face.
