Chapter 18

"Good morning," I smiled, hugging Cal around the waist.

It had been a week since Rosie's operation and last night we both actually got a decent sleep.

"Are you coming with me to my Mum's today?" He asked, hugging me back

"No I was actually going to go see my Mum, our families will suspect things if we start doing stuff together."

"I agree," he nodded

"You can take Rosie though if you like?"

"Of course." He nodded, "I'm going for a shower I'll be back soon." He let go of me and wandered into the bathroom, I couldn't help but notice he was in a funny mood. I didn't push it so I took Rosie into the other bathroom to bathe her.

*Calum's P.O.V*

I opened the door to my house and slipped my shoes off, the place was silent so I assumed Ella was still with her parents. My sister offered to look after Rosie tonight to let us get some sleep and with a lot of not letting her from me I finally gave in and agree we both needed to sleep.

Ella had been on my mind all day I needed to tell her something and I don't think she'll like it.

I climbed the stairs which became an effort to me as tiredness took over and opened the door to my room, the tv was on but Ella was asleep, curled up to the wall.

I took my clothes of, leaving my boxers on and sat myself down on the bed thinking about what I was going to say. I wasn't going to wake her but I needed to know before I was put on the spot.

"What are you thinking about?" She laughed

"Life," I smirked "I thought you were asleep?"

"You wanted me to be asleep." She answered

"What?"

"You've been in a funny mood all day and it's not due to lack of sleep it's a proper funny mood."

"I need to tell you something Ella, you won't like it."

She sat up and leant her back against the wall, "I'm sure we can get through whatever it is...can't we?"

"We need to start our new album soon and the best places to do recording and write songs with some famous people is America and England, we've been kind of told we're going to America before the One Direction tour starts and when its over we'll be living between LA and London for 6 months."

"All in all thats nearly 2 years Calum." I whispered

"I know." He whispered,  dropping his head. "I'm sorry,"

I nodded my head understanding,  my good news was now insignificant so I backed down and lay staring at the ceiling.

"When do you leave?"

"Monday."

I caught my breath at the fact we had exactly 1 week left but I turned round and curled my knee's up to my chin.
